What I really like in this shot is the fact that many concepts are in it. I think the shadow may represent : 1) the lost body of the beloved one, as a remembrance; 2) the submission of the girl to her mistress, due to the face and shadow hip position and the shadow head facing down 3) two lovers that have just quarreled, so they are distant and looking in opposite directions
From the technical point of view, I think this is not such a matter since the emotion is the real main aspect of this shot. So I have nothing to say about technique. I really like the free ceiling above the shadow head, since it makes the girl look undersized in respect of the shadow.
I love this shot, and I hope I managed to explain my thoughts about it.
Hi Hart-Worx, I think you are a master in lighting and your skins are always perfect, but I think the eyes are not in sync. The model's right eye is somehow "sad", and the left one is a bit too "joyful"compared to the other one: it was the first thing I noticed in this beaufitul shot. And I think I noticed this because the shot is overall perfect, but eyes tell two opposite messages to me: the right eye is too shut, or the makeup makes it to look like that, so it appears sad to me. I hope I managed to explain my thoughts in a respectful manner, since English is not my first language, and I hope to hear your opinion. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>
