A NILC!

You.... have no idea how long I've been wanting/trying to draw one of these things. They are part of the world of Avrakt (and will be getting a page on Worldanvil Soonish hopefully.) The are still fairly unfinished overall, so the design might change. But I am pretty happy with this one's overall design.) I also cannot word very well tonight so if things are hard to read in this sorry. Also no this one won't eat you. She's bored because she isn't fully grown yet and is having to wait for her armor to finish growing. (I hope the pose of lying down came across ok??)
I am curious though: what's your first thought on seeing this one? I've gotten a couple of terror/horror and one that was 'Oh nice'. I'm curious what others think!

Bit of background behind the abominations that I call the Nilc:
They have multiple forms depending on different roles within a single hive. There's quite a bit of variance between castes, particularly with how big they are. Most workers stand just barely at a human's knee (though can be a bit taller if they try.) Soldiers can be up to a head taller than a person, while the Queens' successors are a bit bigger (though not by much?) Not to mention the Queens themselves are fairly large. This one is a younger princess...thing? Closest word I can use to describe them atm though even that doesn't quite feel right.
They are more or less blind, relying on other senses (mostly some form of smell) to navigate. Why do they have four eyes? I have no idea, neither set of eyes likely sees things like we do. They live mostly underground in maze-like burrow structures that really only they can efficiently navigate. Their communication is a mix of pheromones, telepathy (mostly from the queens), and a spoken language with a wide range of sounds. Though the spoken language isn't often used, it exists.
