By making this, I'm either responding to trollbait or educating stupid people, either way I'm surprised nobody else has done this.

Super Sonic and Super Saiyans are both a tribute to a Chinese Story about a Golden Warrior.
Nobody is ripping anyone off, nor paying tribute to one another. In fact, the story has been used by a third fictional character from an underrated fighting game called "Power Stone" in which two characters would run around in a 3D environment collecting Power Stones in order to transform and defeat their opponent.
The Character "Wang Tang" would transform into a powerful golden version of himself with upturned yellow hair and red eyes.
