Hey there, everyone. How’s it poppin’?
Before I begin, I should acknowledge the elephant in the room. I have not updated you all in a month and a half. For something that is meant to be weekly updates, I sure have been making them monthly instead. I am sorry for not updating you at all recently. I will make sure this is a big update.
For starters, I have been slowing down on writing in recent weeks. A huge part of the reason is because of a schedule shift in my workplace. For context, I usually start work early in the afternoon and end it at night. I can do morning shifts, but they are not as often as before. However, due to coworkers either getting fired or transferred to other departments, I am now working in the morning and often end early in the evening.
To put it simply, it has been rough adapting to such a schedule. Heck, I am still not used to it. Getting to sleep at about 10 PM? Still have not shifted my sleep schedule to that. For much of my life, since working at

Hey there. How's it poppin'?
Before you ask, I know that I haven't been updating as much as I should. Truth be told, there isn't much news on the writing side until now. I completed a 'short' story for Aleph (which I posted on Patreon a week early). I'm doing something different there, though. Instead of a download link to my story's document, I'm just copy-pasting my story there. I hope that it'll make it easier for you all to read. I've also completed a new short story for both Macro March and Lycanroc Day, to be posted on March 18th. It was a lot of fun, and I hope you all will enjoy it.
In personal news, I'm trying something new here. This year, I want to grow tomatoes. In fact, I just started about a week ago. Here's the image of the starter pots.

I know. It's just a peat moss pot with soil and nothing growing there. It'll take a bit of time before they sprout.

Weekly Update 01/05/2026 and Year in Review 2025
Hey there, everyone. How’s it poppin’?
I know this journal is a late one on two fronts, both as a weekly thing and as a year-in-review type of deal. As usual, laziness and apathy ruled me over. Heck, it’s starting to affect my time playing Pokémon Legends Z-A. I want to play it, but there are others I want to do first, so my brain just blue-screened.
I would promise I will do better, but I also know that I would not hold myself to it. Heck, I can’t even hold myself to my own schedule. I can only follow through on it if it’s enforceable by another.
First off, my Christmas was OK. It could’ve been better, but that’s only because I had a cold. Ugh. One of the worse timings to get sick. Am I right? Even now, nearly two weeks later, I’m still suffering from the aftereffects. I swear, these colds just want to linger on as long as possible, even hurting my sleeping schedule.
I just want to sleep without waking up in the middle of the night with a clogged nose.
