I walk the line The troubadour sang With his rugged mournful voice And he walked the line I walk the line Is such a strange term When the world is full lines And most of them are hidden I walk the line Not the line between A beginning and an end But still a line to walk I walk the line Between my dreams And this strange new world Of unasked questions I walk the line That separates the mad From the simple fools Who never cross a line I walk the line Where land and water Meet and part the world Into dream and truth.

An American Tail: Fievel's New York Tails Special

"A History Tail" SCENE 1: The episode opens with an exterior shot of the Astor Library, in mid-morning. We then slowly zoom down in and focus on Fievel, sister Tanya, and their friends Tony and Bridget all climbing the doorstep just before the entrance. At the top, they stop and look left and right, finding that no one else is about, then approach the door. The door is locked, and a sign reading “Closed Sundays” is hung in the window. Fievel and Tanya look sad and start to turn back, before Tony suddenly taps them and points to a small gap between two bricks at the bottom-section of the front wall. The siblings smile, the quartet runs to the hole and tip-toes through it one by one. Cut to inside, the wide airy main hall with light shining through the windows and sunroof. The surrounding rooms are shadowed by the large bookshelves. Pan down to Fievel, standing in the middle of the main room floor, he turns in a circle, eyeing everything around him. Tanya walks into frame and steps

Big Neville, the Emperor Penguin Penguin Emperor

Thousands of years ago, yet somehow still in the future, Benjy the nuclear rabbit was well and truly having “a day of it”. It was a simple equation really: no matter what way you cut it, there were too many penguins. The landlord of the Fawcett Inn, post-apocalyptic Stoke Poges’ premier fleapit, had assured him that there would only be a few penguins. This was a terrible bank holiday! Benjy was musing that maybe it wasn’t best to take anything at face value that was stated by a man known as Dodgy Nev, when one of the black and white bastards waddled up to him like it was clenching a fiver between its arse cheeks. ‘Allo dere, squire,’...

Malton - Home of the UberChimp!

Malton in North Yorkshire, adjacent to Pickering and of course Flamingo Land is not the sort of place one would expect to find a dangerous genetic experimentation. And you would be right. The town is, however, home to Horace Wallpecker, aka The ÜberChimp. Horace began swinging through the trees of Newtondale Forest, shrieking like a primate, at an early age. When interviewed by the careers advisor at Malton School, Horace expressed a desire to be Tarzan for a living. He was soundly clouted round the back of the nut with a metre rule as a result. This did not deter Horace. His previous big setback in life had been overcome, being suspended ...

Raymond Chandler's Snow White: A Grim Fairytale

It was a stormy night. Rain heavy enough to wash the slime off the streets and back into the sewers where it belonged. And that’s when she came to me. I’d been workin’ late. Always did. Job like mine, you spent a lotta time on night shifts, lookin’ for cheatin’ spouses goin’ at it like bunnies. It was after one o’ these seemingly endless jobs that I got back to my office-slash-apartment, only to find her waitin’ for me. They say some broad somewhere had a face that launched a thousand ships. This dame could easily manage a couple o’ aircraft carriers and a flotilla of battlecruisers without breakin’ a sweat. Dark hair. Ruby lips. Sapphire eyes. Legs from here to next Friday. Rack like two Labrador puppies in a sack. ‘Must be my lucky night,’ I says, lightin’ a cigarette. ‘Are you Max Thrust?’ she says, in a voice that makes your underpants boil. ‘The private detective?’ ‘’S’what it says on the door,’ I says, lightin’ a cigarette. ‘Of course, it all depends

That music sounds like an animal. Yeah, an animal that goes neigh. What animal goes neigh? A horse! Right! Horses are my favorite. So the Great Schubert's favorite ride goes up and down, round and round, and has horses on it. What ride goes up and down, round and round, and has horses on it?” [Roller coaster vanishes] Annie: “The merry-go-round! Modern technology in Ancient Egypt meant something was wrong with this picture. For now, Sly and Annette were tasked to find someone named Leila Mau. She was in Pharaoh Paradox's court, but that was all Slytunkhamen II knew. He believed they knew where they were keeping the true Pharaoh of Egypt. So, within Deir el-Medina, the duo located a small two-room house made of limestone. They soon found Pharaoh Paradox going inside. He was an African skunk garbed in beige with a Pschent adorning his head. They also found a female silver-spotted black tabby Mau also dressed in beige with gold jewelry on her persons accompanying him. Her cat's eyes were a vivid green, which Annette immediately noted.

The Reassurance He Needed

Once they were at the secure location Bentley pointed the way to, Sly broke out his Bincocucom. He was going to establish communication with his friend, but then looked at Annette. "...Could you give me some privacy for a moment?" Sly requested. "Sure," Annette complied. Once the young rabbit was at a safe distance, Sly put the device over his eyes. This time, he could properly see and hear his closest friend and partner. "Sly, come in! Over!" Bentley exclaimed from his end. "How I've missed that sensuous voice of yours," Sly replied with a smile. "Save the wisecracks and goofball act for later," Bentley told him. "I got your message from the Cooper Vault. Ordinarily, we'd rescue you and get out of here, but you said something about modern technology in Ancient Egypt?" "It's a long story, but yes, there's modern tech here," Sly confirmed. "To make matters worse, one of my ancestors is set for execution by a corrupt Pharaoh. I gathered as much information as I could over the
