I gazed around the Kindergarten, the place I was made, searching for some reflective piece of material to see what I looked like quickly due to the fact that I heard the warp pad go off. Running over to one of the drills I run over to it and look at myself in the reflection. I'm a rather short gem so I have to jump to see anything below my chest. I'm wearing a deep black shirt that has Onyx scrolled across the chest in white writing, and a flowing black skirt with a slit that shows off the onyx gem on my hip, my hair is a light ashen gray that reaches my hips and is full of curls. Smiling and nodding at my reflection I nod at my reflection and inch my way back to the warp pad hiding behind rocks as I go along. Upon spotting a figure on the warp pad I gasp in shock. Not only is there a gem there, but it's a jasper gem, and a male gem. I gasp, I thought there were no such things as male gems, I think to myself and slow inch out from behind the rock.

We giggled and embraced eachother tightly. The fear of the unknown rising up in us both. "Are you ready to try this, and see if we, as a couple, as gems, can do this?" I ask holding onto my lover's hands tightly. He kisses me lightly once. "I'm ready to try this whenever you are baby. Even if we can't fuse we can say we tried, and no matter if we can or not doesn't matter, you're still going to be the one I love." I begin to tear up and nuzzle my face in his shoulder. "You're fantastic. Ready? " I ask once again and he dips me in a low arc my hair slightly sweeping the floor. We smile at eachother as he slowly brings me up from the arc and rests me against his chest before spinning me out away from him. Once again he brings us back together. My onyx gem begins to glow a dark black shiny color, his red jasper begins to do the same. "We're doing it! We're actually about to fuse." I say my voice sounding bubbly and happy. He lifts me off of my feet and holds me into the air before plantin
