Starry Dye: An one use dye that can be used onto personal items and act as a Magic Coat Coat during nights while it looks like the starry sky! "Oh, wow!" Ash gasped as Liko brought in a festively decorated star-shaped cake. "What is that?"
"This is pastel de deseos, or wishing cake--a Paldean Christmas tradition." Liko explained. "As the cake is cut, each person makes a wish before cutting into their slice. If they find a Jirachi figurine in their slice, their wish will come true in the coming year. Different parts of Paldea will have different traditions--what happens if you find the Jirachi figure, and some places will have cakes with multiple figures."
"I can attest that Liko's pastel de deseos is very good!" Roy assured the group as Liko put the cake in the refrigerator. "Everyone at the Naranja thought her recipe was better than Arven's!"
"So, how does the tradition work in Mesagoza?" Misty wondered.
