About me
Photography is my passion. I’ve been fascinated by photography as long as I can remember. At the age of 12 (in 1988), I got the chance to learn many things about photography, especially black & white photography, at school. I’ve been given the opportunity to use a fully equipped photo lab there. Unfortunately, I could use it for four years only, but I learned a lot about the basics there, about how to shoot photos, to develop the films and to apply effects in the darkroom (without Photoshop

).
Now, I’m an IT engineer, keeping the internet up and running (well, at least a small part of it

), but I still love photography and the technology behind it just as much as I used to back at school. Of course, I’m using a digital SLR and computer technology to develop the images today.
About what I’m photographing
All I get in front of the lens.
I especially like all kinds of scapes (landscape, waterscape, cityscape…), architecture, nature, animals and so on. I love to use filters or advanced technologies like pano stitching or HDR. Of course I’m still a photographer not a painter or digital artist, so I’m very cautious when retouching. I love people/portrait/studio photography too, but I’m too shy to do it myself.
