If you had to describe yourself using three fictional characters, who would you choose and why?

If I had to describe myself using three fictional characters, I would choose Steve Rogers/Captain America from Marvel, Bruce Banner/The Hulk from Marvel, and Jim Moriarty from BBC Sherlock.

I would choose Steve Rogers because I have very high morals that I will never stray from, even if it risks my life. I would choose Bruce Banner because I have a problem with my anger, I am incredibly socially awkward, and I like helping people. I would choose Jim Moriarty because I have some psychopath tendencies at times and when I am obsessed with something, I am obsessed with something.

Which characters would you choose?

Zuko (Avatar: The Last Airbender)

"I'm just...angry!"
"Are you angry at me?"
"No!"
"Then who are you angry at?"
"Answer the question."
"I'M ANGRY AT MYSELF!"

I tend to creep people out when I try to be normal, and I'm unfortunately very good at beating myself up. I'm constantly looking for approval that I can't find within myself, and that's very hard to do when I don't agree with what is status quo. I do mean well, I'm just not quite sure how to go about it. One thing is for certain, though: I have a very powerful fire seated within me.

Riku (Kingdom Hearts)

"That was my... my dark side. I gave in to the darkness once. And ever since, it's chased me around in one form or another."

I usually seem very stoic, but I have a fun side when it can be dragged out of me. It takes a lot for me to break out of my shell, and most of the time I seem very detached and distant, especially where small talk is concerned. But when there's deep conversation, it's hard to shut me up. I value my closest friends and family very much, and woe betide the one that messes that up. I know myself well enough to know what lurks within me, and sometimes it gets the better of me. But there will always be a light for me to return to. Social rejection is a big stress factor for me, and I usually wind up retreating to the dark corners when things go south. But if you're in trouble, you can rest assured I've got your back.

Illusen (Neopets)

I tend to sympathize more with all things fuzzy than with people, but I do have a great sense of empathy and compassion. I like to keep everyone and everything happy and safe, although some might find my mannerisms odd or downright weird. I keep myself somewhat isolated to reduce the stress of getting along with people, but I'm happy when in my own little haven. It hurts me greatly when someone gets hurt, even if it doesn't directly involve me. I have a high regard for the value of life, and an adventurous streak a mile wide.

Being normal is over rated anyway and while it is hard to be very hard to find approval, the right person will approve of you being original. Having deep conversations are always better than small talk anyway. And people are hard to sympathize with.

Lemme see
K' from The King of Fighters, Raphael from TMNT (2012) and Knuckles from Sonic. Why? They're all kind  of anti-social (in Raphael's case, maybe not that much), and have short patience for things in general >_>

Bernard Black from Black Books - because I am cynical, and insane at times.
Squidward Tentacles from Spongebob - because I am not easily impressed and I'd have that  expression at times, when provoked.
Chun Li from Street Fighter - because I am kinda mischievous and naughty but lethal at the same time? I also smile all the time. Mostly because I think, "Man, that guy is a dunce. Funny." :aww:

Neku Sakuroba from The World Ends With You because I'm slightly introvert but I open up to people over time

Reji Arisu from NamcoXCapcom for his calm yet intense attitude and I guess a bit of Xiamou because I love webcomics.

Finally Vincent Brooks from Catherine because I sometimes feel like my life isn't really in my control.

Gilbert Grape: socially awkward, had a little brother who had to be looked after all the time, strange-but ultimately bittersweet childhood in a backwoods town. fell in love with a taken person(who's dad was HUGE. not that he wasn't a nice person; but kind of the opposite of the movie as Gilbert's mother was...fluffy?), eventually met someone better and never looked back. totally relate to the 'shut up and do what you're told and look after your sibling thing.'

Jim from Seven Footprints to Satan by Abraham Merritt: Confused most of the time, never really know what's going on, usually get somehow lucky at the end with some backwards scheme that isn't all that great but nobody thought of it before because it's just that dumb.

Hil from Tsubasa: I totally get the 'everyone's bad. everyone should die.' mentality. Or at least I did at one time. It comes with being betrayed on multiple accounts. But, in all ultimatum, it isn't true, and thinking that way isn't healthy.

Charlie Brown, Courage, and Teggs from Astrosaurs

All three represent my failure to do things right most of the time, insecurity and fear at some stuff, like insects and darkness, and my huge appetite respectively.

I wouldn't be foregone, but... I have three type of characters that if mixed could make my personality! :3

Stuart Tusspot (Gorillaz): he's shy, insicure and sometimes he feels a little bit strange when something doesn't work how it should go. But simple things make him smile and come back happy :B

Murdoc Niccals (Gorillaz): don't worry, I'm not a satanist like him ahah XD but it really doesn't matter cause I'm in love with this character for other things... Sometimes he treated badly people around him for some reason, but deeply he knows very well that he loves that people and he doesn't want to admit it! XD (so, in my intimacy I could be "dirty" like him too ahaha XD)

Noodle (Gorillaz): She's like me: a 23 years old girl who will never grow up, an adorable otaku who loves play consolles and good music. We were born in the same month too XD She's generous with anybody and she can give all her heart to people around her...

That's me! :3

Neku Sakuraba from The World Ends With You: Kinda emo, prefers music over people, strawberry blond hair and grey blue eyes.  My friends say I both look and act like him lol.

Piro from MegaTokyo: Geeky, wears glasses, keeps a sketchbook in a messenger bag, has his sadness come out in his artwork, kinda lonely and pathetic, yet takes care of his friends, has a backbone when it counts, and always tries to do the right thing.

Lilo from Lilo and Stitch: Quirky, loves Elvis, kind of an outcast, and is bullied a lot (at least I was as a kid)

:bulletorange: Squidward - since I'm the create and dare I even say more intellectual type compared to most others I affiliate with whose presence can just be so exhausting to me sometimes. I also hate it when other people's loud or stupid behaviour interferes with my relaxing time, this can give some people the impression that I'm a joyless buzzkill, but really I just prefer to be left to do my own thing and not be bothered. That's when I'm at my happiest.

:bulletgreen: Sheldon Cooper - I'm not really a fan of The Big Bang Theory but I've had some people compare me to him, and I suppose I can see why (I'm not nearly that extreme, I can be flexible if I really have to) I'm very particular about practically everything, and I tend to take some things a bit too literally at times too. I have a bad habit of doubting the abilities of others and I tend to be a bit awkward in social situations. Plus I like having some consistency and regularity in my life, I'm certainly not spontaneous in my decisions.

:bulletpurple: Cloud Strife because hair =p

Haha, yeah - Patrick was my favourite character in the show growing up, but now I seem to relate to Squidward a lot more  Really there's a bit of my personality in them all actually, which is probably why I liked the cartoon so much in the first place :) I should have said one part differently though in my Sheldon paragraph though - it's not that I'm always awkward in social situations (though I can be depending on whose around) it's moreso that I just don't understand social conventions. Why is it wrong to point out this? why is it considered polite to do that? etc. I don't really see a lot of importance in social conventions and boundaries myself or see where they came from or why they matter to most people and sometimes, just like Sheldon - this can give people the impression that I'm being rude or nosey when really I'm often just stepping over boundaries without realizing. I tend to make decisions based moreso on logic or long-term potential outcomes rather than emotion too, which is something lots of others seem to do :shifty:

The one time having a rough idea of similar fictional characters and I can barely remember who they are. Yasutora 'Chad' Sado from Bleach since I can be pretty quiet at times and somewhat reluctant to fight unless pushed and very rarely for anything other than defence.

Second up would have to be every other version of Deadpool except the film one; occasionally have a voice in my head that just goes what the hell whereas other times the voice hangs back and acts sane. That and I've got a habit of quoting for apparently no reason and saying things that make seemingly no sense.

Third and final character would be Hazama from BlazBlue. I can be a right arsehole at times, can change moods pretty quick sometimes and do have a laugh that can go bordeline maniac.
