Immersive Reader

Capt-Snowflake Featured By Owner Sep 12, 2021
I've used all sorts of browsers on my computer, but in the last few months I've been using Microsoft Edge almost exclusively and I can't get over how much I love its Immersive Reader feature. I read a lot of news online and for some unfathomable reason, at least half of the sites I visit have inset video screen that automatically start playing when they come onscreen. It's so frickin' annoying!

But now, all I do is click the Immersive Reader feature and, voilą, no more distractive ads or video. It's made reading the news so much more enjoyable.

I automatically use google since its burned into our culture at this point lol. I usually don't like to read books digitally too much since the light can sometimes strain my eyes. So I read books physically which I feel is more realaxing than the digital media. Also I didn't know that internet explorer had that feature which is cool. I guess I underestimated the browser.
