IIRC it was three quarter of the people who voted Trump voted him because they liked him.
While the majority of people who voted Biden didnt care who Biden is, they just wanted to get rid of Trump. So IIRC it was only 43% who actually voted Biden because it was Biden.
I might get the numbers wrong though and I no longer have the link for it, so I cant verify the numbers. Still, the general picture was like that.

I don't think there's any real dispute about that. That said, Biden has been extremely effective with the Coronavirus vaccine rollout, going from essentially zero to hero, and has been quick to push much needed virus relief. So I've been happy.

What happened to Trump in 2020 was the same thing that happened to the Vampire Queen in 2016. Just enough people in key states didn't didn't want her. The large voter turnout in 2020 suggested a strong motivation to make a change.
