Monthly Photography Critique Thread: November!
Welcome to the monthly critique thread for November 2017.
Share one photograph (photography only), in thumb code format (you don't need a Premium Membership to do that in this forum), in this thread for the chance to get a critique from others!
FAQ #511: How do I post thumbnails of my art on the Chat Network or Forums?
For this to really be successful, we don't only need people to share their work, but also to give constructive criticism! Doing so on one piece in this thread would really make a difference to someone and wouldn't take more than 5 minutes of your time.
So please feel encouraged to give a comment, because you may receive one yourself!
Have fun!
N.B. You are not guaranteed any critiques by posting in this thread.
*Please see the Literature, Digital Art and General Art forums if you want critiques on those subjects.

Looks kind of muddy. Actually nevermind, give it some more light and bump up the contrast.
And maybe, it could have used some more depth, but just maybe.

You're fine here, I suggest by gimp or luminar and start learning how to process. Learn camera exposure settings and effects. Good luck
Honestly that's a well done portrait.
Effective soft lighting and well balanced composition.
I notice the right figure's face is in full clarity and focus, however the hands of both are blurry. It's only a small distraction but is noticeable when viewing the work large. Perhaps to prevent this, the aperture could have been raised a bit higher (f5-6) and then either a brighter light or a quicker shutter speed to then help lessen the movement of the hands and capture still figures.

thank you for the feedback I try to leave the shutter speed as low as I can to reduce grain but will tick it up a notch to see if it helps without compromising quality! thank you!
Very true, no grain in this photo!
Adjusting ISO can help remove grain. General rule ISO100-200 very sunny. 400 for cloudy. 800+ for nighttime (depending on varying light, like moon, sunsets, streetlights). Takes some experimenting.

That's what I have found I think I shot at 100 iso am starting to learn the quirks to adjusting ISO to make pictures stand out it does take experimenting I appreciate the advice!
A pleasure to help!
Gorgeous! I love architectural photography, and I really like the warmth in your photo, and the clarity. Where is this, out of pure curiosity?
