Hi all

So I brought my first ever display graphic tablet in the black Friday sales (Yay?) I received it in the mail today and I am having some issues.

At first I couldnít draw at all. (I.e nothing was going on the screen regardless of what art program I tried).

Then I did a windows update and added in a new pen nib.

Then it somewhat started to work. But only just.

I cannot seem to get it draw right. It cuts out if I do a continuous line, whether I draw a straight line or a circle.

Also I have to press really hard to get it to draw anything. Like even on soft pen pressure settings, the blue bar does not get past P in pen (In settings where you change the Current Pen Pressure). Honestly if this is normal I will have to send it back as that will kill my wrist in the long term.

I was talking to a friend who also has the same model and other then calibrations theirs worked good straight from the box.

Windows pc

Things I have tried:

Deleting all tablet drivers

Restarting. Many times.

Tried both the official driver and the beta UI driver

Took out the old nib and put in a new one.

Changed the pen pressure settings to either sides.

Programs I have tried:

Photoshop, Clip studio and paint.

I honestly think it is then pen. But just wanted to know your thoughts. Maybe I just am pathetic. I donít know. I got my hopes up but now I am just stressed and sad.

Thanks

Phoenix

Sounds like either software/hardware conflicts via plugging it into the PC, or the tablet or the pen itself could be faulty.   It should work straight out of the box.  If it doesn't do what you expect it to do. I'd get in contact with the manufacturer/retailer from whom it was purchased.  If it's that new.  You'd most definitely be under warranty.  They've got to replace it, or at least provide adequate customer support to figure out the issue/s.  That you've checked the drivers etc shows initiative.  But I mean it could be just about anything from the tablet, the pen to the software that came with it.

Thank you! Customer support did get back to me. By all the information I gave them, they believe it is the pen and are shipping out a new pen. If that doesn't work I will say it is the tablet itself. Thank you for your response. Have a great day!
