ABOUT ME AS A CREATIVE & MY GALLERY HERE

This isn't the first account I've had on DeviantArt but it's definitely my last. My first account was created awhile back (15+ years ago) but I closed it down in 2019 because my artistic journey took me on a different path (besides that, it was time for new beginnings).

I am first and foremost, a professional published author and writer. I began writing at a very early age. I choose to share only a small portion of my literary talent and work on DeviantArt, however. I gained much of my creative writing experience while working as a freelance newspaper journalist, at which time I was a Feature Writer. While working in the field, I managed to gain a touch of photography and literary editing experience, as well. Additionally, I consider myself an "Intermediate to Advanced Level" Digital Artist, specializing in "Photo Editing and Enhancement", as well as "Photo Manipulation".

MOST IMPORTANT BASIC FACTS TO KNOW ABOUT ME

1.) Most important to my life is my knowing of and my trust in only one All Powerful Divine and Loving Supreme Presence. The Source from which all that is good and beautiful originates!!!!

2.) I am fully aware that every single one of us has been given the equal choice to either be or not be a "Team Player" alongside this Divine Presence and not only share in all that is good and beautiful but also to be participants in spreading it around far and wide!!!

3.) I am quite Blessed and very thankful for each and every one of my many Blessings!!

4.) Within me exists both a "Source" and a "Force". Which of these you experience, and at what precise time you experience it, all depends on YOU! That is an area within me, of which I've no control over...both are much, much bigger than me!!

5.) I am as real as you can get on this earthly plane. The only thing I choose not to reveal about myself is my true identity. This is the World Wide Web. I know my name! That's all that really matters...

I choose to go by the pseudonym of "Rachel" and the nickname of "Sunny"

Main Interests:

The Divine. Self-Awareness. The Mysteries of Love and Life, Nature, and of course, Art

What Stirs My Heart & Soul:

I simply melt when it comes to the colors pink, green, yellow and orange. I love butterflies, and all animals, and sunrises, and sunsets, and flowers, and the woods (yes, especially the woods), and old people, and wise souls, and all kinds of music. I'm also quite moved by those considered to be "underdogs" in our society. I Love everything that is good and beautiful! Oh, and coffee--I love coffee! It's very good and beautiful!

My Beloved Heroes:

First and Foremost, my main hero is my Dad! Next in line are Princess Diana and Steve Erwin

My Biggest Challenges:

I face many, many challenges every day. But the two that rip me apart is PTSD (and then some) and an eating disorder. Both have been a long-standing "living hell" for me from a very early age.

I use these challenges in the creation of some of my work. It partially explains why you will come across some more depressive works within my gallery. It is my own personal form of therapy. It keeps me (somewhat) sane and (very much) Alive. If it helps others, too-Great! I'd hope that there is something within my gallery, whether bright or dark, that touches you in some way, makes you ponder and/or inspires you!

Considering that I have been trusted by "The-Powers-That-Be" to co-exist with these challenges, I will continue forward with fortitude on the path that has been laid before me, regardless of how depressed I might become at times, forever trying my ultimate best to keep my chin up and my head held high!.... I'll never give up! And neither should you!
