Good, that's a really mini miniature!

Thanks. One of my dreams is a 1:72 scale version of Wh40k for miniature and model collectors.

Sadly, they keep focused on 28mm heroic which while it's probably tougher and less vulnerable to damage, looks like a caricature.

Maybe one day I'll try to make a squad of 1:72 Wil Rees style Marines...

I love old Rogue trader illust by Rees, and a 1:72 squad will be an awesome sight!

I played with 1:72 soldier when I was kid (mostly Atlantic and Airfix), and recently I've seen that some fantasy plastic subjects appeared, like Caesar Miniatures, maybe sci-fi is at hand...

Wil Rees and Ian Miller were my favourite RT artists. It's a shame Rees stopped doing Wh40k stuff after RT rulebook and Ian Miller after Slaves to Darkness :( .
Rees inspired me to get back to gel pens. Sadly, I can't do proper dureresque art due to disgraphia.
I tried to do some non-wh40k dark stuff after getting disappointed with the direction Wh40k took later:

I don't know if I'll ever make the squad. I find it hard to get motivated to sculpting/modelling lately :( . Damn... I recently have read my old posts on a Polish Wh40k/Whfb forum and apparently in 2004, I used to spend 7 hours a day sculpting and painting. I find such dedication unimaginable now.

I never looked for 1:72 sci-fi miniatures. Wow, apparently these are the only 1:72 sci-fi miniatures o_O :

Don't tell me anything about old days gone by, I think I've passed many of my past life painting and modelling! :D (Big Grin)

I've re-discovered love for miniatures in very recent times. Luckily I've not sell my collection of oldies, so I want to dedicate to a little project: to revive old Chaos Warbands, as stated on Realm of Chaos tomes, only with Rogue Trader/WHFB 3rd edition minis.

Thanks for link on those 1:72 sci-fi soldiers, walkers are very nice and detailed, but troopers still remind me space opera G.I.
