Discussing on the eye color of their future child, the two young lovers lingered too much on the western hill, beneath the ancient solitary tree. The black hound of the night swallowed the sun,and the moon, its mistress, forced again the world to see her face. When they finally noticed the late night, it was too late: a sinister growl grew closer...fire-birds seemed to run towards them, floating in the air. When these demons became closer, the boys discovered a horror even worse: the beasts, impaled on horns of unicorns, were the living torches of the trolls.Everything seemed lost, when the sound of a wooden-horn from far away made a griffin reach them,a griffin colored like the wood, with roots like claws and leaves like feathers. The fairy creature, which seemed son of trees rather than beasts, was the mount of the sad king, lord of the forest of fairies, the same who had played the horn: it took them gently and flew away. Each young awoke in his own bed the next morning, thinking it was just a dream, but strange leaves adorned their pillows.

Very nice. I think you could write a book. I love the dark and somber feel of your work. The unseelie vs the seelie courts. This story paints a vivid picture, like a painting, of the marching trolls and the rescue by the light fay. So many sugar coat the fairy tales but the reality is much more dark and tainted. I love it.

There is no doubt that I shall find inspiration in your works. I think once a year, in October, when the seasons change I find myself drawn to that world of the fairie. Soon I shall have to call upon your words and paint a picture from amongst them. Thank you for sharing.

Naturally I would be more than honored of being an inspiration with my works for your work..

About writings... well I simply do something that's more related to the past....
before 20th century... fairytales where not exatly so fairy (not always at least)... stories of darkness and violence were told to children with no scandal because they could see horror and violence every day...and those tales could teach children to be aware.

I personally didn't read fairytales or fairy mythology neither when I was a child nor now... what I write simply comes from my mind... and naturally from reality...

We can see so many troll,angels,fairies,goblin... etc... all togheter simply walking in the downtown of a town.

In the end I must confess that I write because I am not able to paint... (lol)

You do paint, with words and I fully agree about seeing trolls and goblins and angels everyday. I am an avid reader and while I read many nursery ryhms as a child it was only occasionally that I came across fairie lore. Of course I did not pay much attention though gnomes were kind of cool. And then I found out there was a darker side the fairie myths. I grew up very poor and life was hard through several of my fathers marriages and divorces so I geuss I am drawn to those dark tales because my life was not a fairy tale. There is much sorrow and loss in life. Of course, my brother and I grew up on scary movies when away with our mother for the summers as well. So, I understand and I tend toward the dark in my work. Not to say, however, that there isn't beuty in my life either. I have a good life now and adventure and I have seen so many wonders. The darker the night, the brighter the light.
