After not arting for far too long, I'm actually beyond pleased with how this turned out! :lovely:
So, FYI, I've never done a "Sci-Fi" outfit before. Just as a PSA to anyone else with a Performer, please do not google "Sci-Fi Dancer" for costume ideas because you will be scarred for life. You have been warned. After that minor traumatic event, I decided to pull from games that I knew.

This is a mix of a Mass Effect and Phantasy Star Online AU. The weapons are pulled directly from Phantasy Star Episode I + II for the Gamecube - that's a throwback for you - which is a phenomenal game, and the costume is inspired by Miranda Lawson and Kasumi Goto's concept artwork and alternate costumes from Mass Effect 2. The emblem in the background, and the tattoo on his forearm, is a symbol of a Keaton/kitsune/fox, as a reference to his employment on Jung's vessel. I maaaaay or may not have already crafted an entire story behind this AU long before this month started >u>;; don't judge me. Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed this artwork! More information regarding the AU will be located below this section for convenience's sake. Let me know if anyone's interested in me writing a little something-something for this as well.

All EXP and Rupees to Lazarus, please!
Jerial belongs to follyoftheforbidden

Name: Jerial
Race: Gerudo
Home Planet: Wasteland
Occupation (Full-Time): Informant
Occupation (Part-Time): Traveling Performer
Weapon: Energy Daggers
Sub-Weapon: Twin Pistols

History:
Jerial was born on the desertous world of Wasteland, named as thus for its arid temperatures, lifeless environments and violent lifestyle of its inhabitants. Tribe after tribe formed to survive the harsh conditions, praying to the Goddess of the Sands to rescue them from this terror. One day, their answer arrived, as an unidentified craft fell from the sky and informed them of world's beyond their reach. Esmera, knowing she could not keep her restless son here any more, bid her child goodbye as Jerial stowed away onboard the ship.

Upon reaching Citadel, the cental hub of commerce and government in the universe, Jerial escaped the notice of the crew members and set up shop admist the hustle and bustle of people going to and fro. It was there that he performed exotic dances native to his homeland for the public pleasure of his audience members. Many gathered, enthralled by this unknown art (and grateful that they did not need to pay the fees required to enter the city's seedier clubs), but only one onlooker caught his eye - a man by the name of Jung. With his silver tongue and whole lot of luck, he swindled the mysterious man into buying him dinner at a local restaurant. By the end of the night, Jerial was begging Jung to take him with him on his adventures across the star ocean, despite being unaware of the specifics regarding Jung's line of work. Jung laughed, refusing, and told him to stay put. Jerial was none too pleased.

He counted down the days until this man returned, only to find him in the audience months later. Surprise, surprise. Jerial invited the other to walk and talk so that the two could catch up. Whilst reminsicing over their lives throughout the last months since they'd seen one another, Jerial informed Jung that he would, in fact, be joining him. And, if Jung refused, Jerial would find a way to stow away onboard, just as he'd done with the last ship. Jung, impressed by his persistence, agrees and offers him a contract for employment aboard his ship, the Keaton.

Throughout the time spent traveling, Jerial found his niche in the crew as an information, seducing information out of clients and enemies alike, along with performing the occasional post-seduction assassination. Although Jung seemed reluctant to indulge him at first, Jerial rose through the ranks of the crew and serves as Jung's right-hand man, with Vanda as his left-hand woman. The crew of the Keaton currently searches the galaxy far and wide to find a cure for the curse Vanda incurred whilst on Wasteland herself.

heck yeah~ i started playing phantasy star when they released the DS Game waaaay back when (phantasy star 0 I think it was?) =w= it was so fun! I'd play all the time as a human ranger and play support for my sister who was a Neman hunter. I need to dig that game up again aaah.

No much~ hehe not so much abnormal but creative and unique =w= hehe

OMG YES! I remember that game! I didn't enjoy it as much as the originals, unfortunately. It was soooo hard if you played as a Force. Rangers are a blast to play as, though, because they can use ranged weapons, melee weapons AND magic if you level them right. Replay it and let me live vicariously through you - I so wish we had the online Phantasy Star that used to exist so we could play together

Whaaaat!? Seriously!? Ugh, that sucks! I have the "online" Gamecube games, which never really worked online, but I used to play Blue Burst, which was the same thing essentially, but improved and on the computer. It was SO good! Now they have Phantasy Star Online II, which looks BEAUTIFUL, but it's only in Japan right now >n> google search it when you get a chance. It looks insane.

It was? I'd heard rumors of it, but I never knew if it actually happened or not. I'd heard it hadn't. Huh.
