If you are still working on this, I think for Minish Cap two ideas are the hat that Link wears or a kinstone piece. (Those are both unique to that game)
For Four Swords, if you're thinking the Gamecube version, I would go with Vaati's eye symbol (you see it at the beginning and the end)
Now Link to the Past....it's been so long since I've played that I'm not sure...but like with my other suggestions I would find something unique from that game to use. (the Book of Mudora ot the three medallions?)

Discrepancies. Just like they imply Goku and Chichi have never kissed, which happened (at least in the US version) after Goku recovered from the heart virus. Why else would Chichi stand on her tip-toes to reach Goku's face?
I'm also hoping that with Bulma there maybe Vegeta will have another big power up.
And hopefully someone out there will make some kind of timeline chart to sort everything out...
