Though my time consuming little person toddling around, I am unbelievably keeping up my painting activities.
It seems that I have a new exhibition on the way whose main focus is Piedmontese birds, so I dove into a new creative stream with lots of research on uncommon or scarcely known feathered critters.
And so this partridge came out!
Done with magazine scraps glued to a plywood board (20x30 cm) and acrylics, this painting follows the trend set with the woodpeckers , the corn poppy
and the mountain hare : the background colours are achieved exclusively through collage, without adding paint.
