My Bio
I use this DeviantArt account to host my Rainmeter skins. Occasionally there might be a work in progress, desktop screenshot, or code walkthrough in there too...

I'm often busy with school or work, so sometimes there will be long gaps when I forget to check DeviantArt for Notes/Comments. So if you've left a comment or note and I haven't responded, I apologize, but Rainmeter isn't at the top of my priority list.

Many more general questions can be quickly answered by asking on Rainmeter's forums: rainmeter.net/forum/
Hello everyone! It's been a while. Other priorities took my time for working on Rainmeter, so several of my skins have been broken for a while and there are lots of unanswered comments. Sadly I don't think I'll ever get around to answering all of the...

Welcome to the CircuitousTwo Frequently Asked Questions guide.  I will use this journal to post answers to questions about the skins that I either get a lot, or that are too long and complicated to put in a mere comment. :thumb376652231: Does the media player skin work with Spotify?Short answer - not really. The NowPlaying plugin used in the media player skin only has partial support for Spotify.  As far as I can tell, this is mostly just because Spotify only shows limited information in the first place.  From the manual, here is what NowPlaying can do with Spotify: Partially supported. Only the types Artist, Track and the bangs Play, Pla

If you are unfamiliar with the binary (base 2) numeral system, you may want to do some reading here before going through the rest of this post. The aim of this skin is to create a binary-coded decimal clock in Rainmeter.  To keep this short, we'll just do the hours and minutes (especially since the code for seconds is virtually identical to the minutes anyway). Download Full Skin Here (package includes several variants - we'll be going through "Decimal_HM.ini") The Groundwork To begin, we'll need [Rainmeter], [Metadata], and [Variables] sections.  Once again, we'll use include (https://www.deviantart.com/include) to put the variables in an external file (called Appearance.

Hi

Congrats on Elementary 3.0 a very nice - simple design!

One problem I am having is with the weather module. It does not work and gives the following error in the log.

RegExp matching error (-1) (Elementary\Weather\weather.ini - [mWeatherRoot])

My location code is set to UKXX0011 (Basingstoke , UK)

Cheers

thanks for the fav my friend! Hug
Hey, love the rainmeter skins you made. I managed to get the now playing skin to work with google play music desktop player and added a mute button. Let me know if you want it for any future plans for an elementary 3.0 or something
Hi, I just loaded your DINAJ2 skin and am fairly new to Rainmeter skins...  How do I change my location in this skin?
Hi! I recently downloaded your elementary 2.0 rainmeter skin (thanks for that) and now I'm trying to get the uptime.ini show not just the days, hours and minutes but also seconds. Could you help me with this ?
Sure, should be pretty simple.  Open up 'uptime.ini' in a plain text editor,
find the '[measureUptime]' section, and add this format line:

Format="%4!i!d %3!i!h %2!i!m %1!i!s"

(Documentation for the format code is here: docs.rainmeter.net/manual/meas… )
My favourite rainmeter dude!
