Hi Everypony!
I'm flutterguy317, vector artist and creator of Ponyscape, vector art creation software based on Inkscape! I create vector artwork of ponies from the TV show My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, and sometimes dabble in creating vector art of old Disney shows. My gallery consists of show-accurate art, which is meant to be a resource to the community to be used in any type of projects, and more stylized art which I use to try to push my artistic ability. I have been branching out into adding new features to my vectors, such as lighting, shading, and textures, and I hope to improve as an artist in general.
For creating my art, I currently use a desktop running Arch Linux, and I use Ponyscape for vectoring, Krita for drawing, Darktable for Photography, and The Gimp for occasionally patching things up. I work as a software engineer for a company that makes laser-cutting machines, so I have put my vectoring to use and created some pretty neat marked-metal ponies and microphone flags for the CAC.
I worked on developing a derivative of Inkscape called Ponyscape, which used the latest Inkscape base (at the time) and adds some useful features! The Inkscape team has started working to put some of these new features into their software, which will hopefully happen soon. You can find out about the latest version of Ponyscape in the
Ponyscape-Vectors group. After working on Ponyscape I started working on a new vector suite, however I have taken a hiatus from working on it for a while mostly due to the fact that working on Ponyscape burnt me out. I will probably start up this project again in the near future (and hopefully avoid burning myself out this time around), so stay tuned for that!
I'm also a co-host (along with
RainbowPlasma,
Bernd01, and
Atmospark) of an awesome podcast/radiocast which airs on the
Everfree Network called Cutie Art Crusaders! We discuss different MLP fan artwork or have a special guest artist on each week. It's been a ton of fun, and we've gotten to spotlight art from all reaches of the fandom and meet some pretty amazing artists! More info can be found on our deviantart page:

You are free to use any of my vectors in other works, but please make sure to give me credit and let me know that you're using it. You don't need my permission, but I'd love to be able to see what you create!
Thank you all so much for all of the favs, comments, and watches! I can't get around to responding to everypony, but I do really appreciate them!
