The concept of creating my own world seems simple enough at first glance, but the longer you look at the ink, the more you'll see in it. Let your imagination take flight with *Fluegel's art.

I'm kind of really fond of the outcome. Everything (except the textures) was photographed or painted by myself with some assistance of my friend (thank you!).
Textures from texturelovers.com: [link] and [link]
I hope you like it ^^
Please give me feedback :>

edit:
a DD. This is really awesome!
Thank you all so very much, it made my day!
wow .. it does not stop .. i really -try- to look back at the work of you guys!
Because some people asked how I came up with the idea (which I really cannot tell, since it was simply there..) I uploaded a sketch which actually also contains a "poem" about the image itself .. [link]

Creative and beautiful; it's hard to tell what was actually manipulated in this photo (or rather, how). At first lance I simply enjoyed the soft blue and red background and the hand which was painting some birds; the jar is clear and provides eye catching contrast where the surface shines, and where the dark ink is concentrated. It was those swirled that made me look twice.
They are the best part of this piece I feel; they appear to fluid and inky, genuinely like the brush was dipped in the water and those shapes billowed out. However you achieved that effect, it worked brilliantly - it's not obvious like some photo manipulations are, and this mystery allows this piece to achieve a level or surreal appearance that goes above most other photo manipulations.
I think your choice to only add mild amounts of texture was a good idea; it may have distracted from the apparent realistic look of this piece if you had added more.
I honestly can't really give any helpful advice, though perhaps someone else with more experience with this medium will oblige you.
