Introspection by floydiac Introspection by floydiac
Took this shot in Koblenz, Germany.

I realised the effect I could achieve, and shoved everyone out of the way.

I rather like it.

Dude I dunno how often you get onto dA anymore, but I just had another look at this, and you know, this is one helluva masterpiece. I'm not on dA anymore, mainly cause it's frustrating, slow, etc, but still this I had to comment on again. Btw, did you repost this or what cause my oooooooollld comment is not here?

PS: Don't reply here, reply on FB cause I have over 1200 unread messages on dA... bleh...

I love the framing and shadows. How you can see just enough of the floor and your eyes are led to the brightness of the doorway.

Couldn't have put it better myself.

The subtle reflections on the floor and walls do ultimately drag you toward the light in the front. I was just stood there looking around, spotted that and went for it. Completely spontaneous.

Aside from the border, I didn't process it owt either. :)

It's a very interesting picture, I can sort of see what you were getting at when I look at it.

So when you "shoved everyone out of the way" to take this picture, there were random people walking around this area? XD

Anyway, the setting looks empty, almost desolate, except for the one man standing there. It almost resembles a lair if you think about it. Hmm.

Thinking about this a little more, I think this would be an interesting album art.

Sorry, I can't really critique this because I can't see anything where you might improve, but maybe the details that're in the light could've been sharper.

Yes, especially because when I zoomed in on the full download view it's a little blurry where the light hits. Could be sharper, yeah.

I think the title is very insightful actually, it lets us know what you were thinking... who cares what they were thinking, it is not their picture! :D

It was a spur of the moment thing...just saw it and thought "heeeyyy."

What that photo doesn't show is the cussing coming from the model...lol

I think the title suits, personally. Its a great picture - you were right in shoving everyone out the way, you should do it more often! Highly impressive.

Who 's the person?

I should give my camera more of an airing, really. I meant to take it with me to Cologne, and I forgot. Im kicking myself- there were some amazing lightshows!

The title was changed...lol

The rather reluctant model was Jonathan.

Glad you like it.

Shame you forgot yours though.

where was this taken? it looks like the front of a ship...
its a very good shot though
it doesn't need any changes
and its nice and simple
although in my opinion the title isn't quite suitable for it, but i don't know what is :P
