Yes that is correct. These cards have a pattern/texture on them. This will definitely look best using Matte paper.

I've always used glossy. I think I'll be going with matte next time! Thanks!
Well, with a texture like this I'm pretty sure the result would be matte. Other than that glossy paper is awesome too.
