I joined the Army. I'm going to be an Animal Care Specialist, which means I take care of the Army dogs. I leave for boot camp March 8.

Oh, hi
Hey everyone, I pretty much forgot all about DA until a couple of days ago. I still won't be checking it very often, maybe once a month or so. This is just a journal to let everyone know that I can be found at http://www.furaffinity.net/user/flinchy/ where I update much more frequently.

FREE TIME:
I wish I had more free time. I keep wishing I could resume the games and RPGs I was so active in before joining the army, but alas, I HAVE A LIFE NOW D: I do miss them a lot though, mainly a Victorian one I used to play in every night.
RATS:
SPEAKING OF VICTORIAN, I picked up my little plague-babies on Saturday. I'll post pictures when I get around to it. Queen Victoria is adorable, she's very friendly and gives little rat-kisses whenever I reach my hand into the cage ^^ Dr. Wiggles is a bit more skittish and she's always trying to escape, but her curly fur is adorable.
POPE:
So that day last week, when the Pope came, yeah the
THE POPE IS INVADING
So yeah, the Pope and the President are going to be at my base today. The Pope is flying in this afternoon and the President is coming to meet him, but they've ALREADY stolen our parking lot to use for event parking. So we had to cancel all of our afternoon appointments at the Base Vet Clinic because our clients wouldn't be able to get here, since the street we're on is being shut down so the Pope can pass by without threat of being shot.
Aaron is in vehicle operations, and since he's one of their best drivers he's going to be driving for the Pope's associates. It's fun for me because that means he has to wear his pretty dress blue uniform,
