I started out just playing with photoshop the summer of 2015 as something to learn. It was something that I could do with my kids running crazy around me, which I cannot do in my other occupation. I didn't expect that I would really fall in love with it!! I do it because I love to do it, and I hope to get better.

Sometimes I'm really happy with something and then I look at what others are doing and feel like my work is so insignificant. Other times I hate something I've done and others like it. In the end, it's just an expression of an artistic side of me and I know that if I keep at it, I will get better.
I find so much beautiful stuff and love to look at other's artwork here on DA. If I've favorited something in my main folder, then it's inspiring to me and I would like to try to emulate it in my own style. If I've favorited something and it's in a stock folder, then it's inspired me to try to use it in one of my photomanipulations.
I am just incredibly grateful to the artists who are willing to help others, who post their work to inspire others and for the stock providers who work so hard to provide such amazing pieces. Thank you for everything.
