My Bio

Flavio is an Argentine illustrator born in 1988. At the age of 13 took a comic course with Silvestre Szilagyi. He finished highschool in Fernando Fader school, graduating in Advertising Design. Since 2008 he attended lots of illustration courses and fine art ateliers, with artists like Juan Bobillo, Ariel Olivetti, Salvador Sanz, Enrique Alcatena, Jonathan Junyent and Ariel Gulluni.

Freelancing in advertising, his first fulltime work was on PepperMelon Studio (2011-2013), where he learned to work digitally, doing storyboards, concepts, character and background design, for advertising and short animated films. On his latest projects in PepperMelon, he was also Art Director.

Nowadays, Flavio is focusing on Poster Art and book covers, doing the illustrations for film festivals (such as Blood Window and BARS) and movies.

I was out for a long time

I was out for a long time. Basically that. No Blogger, no deviantArt. Just some sketches and studies uploaded on Facebook, for almost the last two years.It will be hard work to update my profile and art. But I hope to do it soon and well, including some fine art studies and sketches, concept art, illustrations and designs.Also, with permission, I will upload some of the creative process I'm doing as a designer and illustrator in Peppermelon Studio, here in Argentina.I hope you like it!
