I have been very busy, my new tool the UP! Personal Portable 3D Printer is FANTASTIC, I've begun construction of my model of the Jupiter II support frame.
It is great, the model will be done sometime this week and after an appropriate time of enjoyment I'm going to offer it up for sale, this is going to be a one of a kind fantastic piece of art/mechanical design.
I've been also printing designs for customers in the prototype market, I can generate models at a low cost, fast turn around and I can improve or make alterations to their designs as needed due to my advanced designing skills and CAD capabilities.
I'm looking for projects to print
Hello all who read this,
I'm in the throws of a nerd-gasm, I'm finally living my dream of being able to design and send my models to my 3D printer and within hours I have a real part or assembly to use for "Form, Fit and Function".
Sounds like my favorite comic book character Tony Stark, WOW this thing is so cool.
I'm in the process of making a nearly 2 foot diameter ABS plastic model of the frame of my "Gemini 12/Jupiter 2" model, I've made the top ring and 8 spar beams and the printer is continuing to crank out parts each night, I'm hopeful that I may be done by next week, I will then post photos and videos.
After completion and an appr
Welcome to my design study of the "Jupiter 2" spacecraft from the hit TV show "Lost in Space"
I've been collecting "Blueprints" of various ships and equipment in the Science Fact and Fiction category for a number of years and I noticed that there has never been a reasonable layout of this particular ship design, as I studied the material I could find on the internet I found there are a great number of modelers out there attempting to squeeze into the craft all the equipment and levels that were shown in the TV series in plastic scale models without much success.
This project is an attempt to make the design more of a "Real world" c
