Howdy everyone!
I know that I market myself as a vector artist/animator, but that doesn't mean I still don't have the foundational skills in place to create some fancy fine art. ^^ This piece was created during my stay at the Savannah College of Art & Design for my Drawing I class back in 2008 - and it was completely created using nothing but straight lines.

CROSSHATCHING

Funny how crosshatching doesn't work to well digitally, though it reds fine (to me) on paper or non-digitally. Also I remember learning how to define values for myself, setting the lightest shade and the darkest black, doing that was always fun.
