Good catch on the back legs! I'll make sure to tighten them up in v1.1 here at the end of this week. (I didn't give it much thought since the lower part of those legs are designed to be used for morphing the shape and can easily be fixed by the animator.)

As always your critique is spot-on!

To be honest, I'm trying to make the mecha appear stiff for these first panels. She gets more flexible a little later on and it's meant to be sudden - and dangerous. But you're right on the pose of her head, I probably should have had her angle her head down a bit more. I guess I wanted it to feel creepy - and having just somepony's eyes move to look at you, rather than their whole head just feels creepier to me.

And on the oblivious-ness of every pony aside from Twilight - it's meant to contrast with the foreboding imagery. Here we have these panels with a creepily drawn Mecha - dark shadows and Twilight frightened/shocked - and yet bright pink monochromatic color schemes, confetti, hearts, and every other pony having a good time. My goal is to confuse the reader and create suspense _{(kind of like if you went to go see a horror film - but it starts out all happy with little bunnies and cute things - and every now and then you catch a glimpse of the darkness lurking around the corner - you can't help but feel the suspense building because you know what you're in for once the horror begins).}

So yeah - I'm definitely approaching it from a nightmarish perspective. And I will definitely explain why everyotherpony aside from Twilight (and Doctor Whooves) isn't seeing this Mecha for what it really is.
