Gameplay - First of all Capcom, THANK YOU for bringing back the Charge Shot and Slide! I really hated how 9 and 10 pretty much pretended those moves didn't exist for Rock and instead allowed Blues to use them (while at the same time punishing players for using the charge and slide by making him take double damage, which was really stupid.) The game controls JUST like the classic titles do, tight and responsive as they should be. I really like how Rush actions are relegated to a separate button. The Double Gear system is really fun to use: Speed Gear for slowing down time, and Power Gear for increasing damage output.
Boss Fights - So far, we've only fought Block Man in the demo, but I love how the fights work. After shaving off their health somewhat, they go into ONIP (Ok, Now I'm Pissed) mode and activate their OWN Double Gear system to either move faster or take on a colossal form! Not to mention it feels SO SATISFYING to defeat the bosses and mid-bosses!
Difficulty - There are 4 difficulties so far: Newcomer, Casual, Normal, and Superhero. The first 3 are available in the demo, but from what I played, all 3 difficulties are fair. I've mostly done Casual and Normal, though. Not once has a death been unfair, and been more or less my fault.
Graphics - Now I know that graphics don't mean anything in the long run, but the game looks GORGEOUS! The models look amazing and the animations look alright, though Rock looks pretty stiff in his running animations. No big deal, really.
Voice Acting - Now, the last main series game to have voice acting was Mega Man 8 (Powered Up was just a remake of MM1), and I gotta say it's a marginal improvement. the characters sound really good and it actually feels like they had time to practice their lines instead of doing them all in one take, like in 8.
Overall I'm hyped for this game, and I don't care if the classic purists say it's "already garbage" because it's "not 8-bit". Just because it's not 8-bit doesn't automatically mean it's bad.
