Yeah you are seeing this right, as we all know, Filler is very devises Topic in storytelling, mainly serving as a feel in for any spot that feels short, or can come as padding as well, and this is very much the case with anime, since there is A Lot of Filler within it's own media. But even if there as some bads, or medicore to okay in a lot of cases, there are really good ones that are either a good story to see before something big, or so good that you want more of. So this list focus on on either an episode or entire arcs, as long as they are filler. Now for a list like this, rules have to be placed, and believe me, there was a lot, so let's get it done:

1. They have to be Anime that are primarily based on the Manga or Light Novel

2. No movies since their will be complications on whether they count as Non-Canon or not

3. Recaps are allowed as long as they have a story that backs them up and not be a straight up Recap episode

4. No filler that ends the anime if the manga continues and there is no sequel series after or remake of the series

5. No OVAs or Specials, they have to primarily be part of the main series line up, plus it will be it’s own thing

6. No anime based anything other then manga, that means no anime based off of western works, and no video game based anime, that’s means no Senran Kagura or even Pokémon

7. No Crossovers, that's a whole different Ball Park

Now believe me that this list was crazy as hell tricky to make, so please don't jump the gun on me, as this is my personal opinion. Also, I wanna give shout out to my bro nifinlandas he gave me some that really fit the bill with a list like this, and also to the site AnimeFillerList, since it helped show what was filler and what was not. Anyway, with all that said, hope you enjoy this list, stay safe and healthy, and remember that this is my opinion.

I might have to double check the exact details on this, but those 3 “filler“ arcs of Fairy Tail aren’t actually filler as far as I can tell. It’s true they weren’t in the manga, but if I have the right description of the events behind their creation, Fairy Tails Manga-ka is the one who thought of those stories and he does consider them canon.

Heck the events of the Starry Sky Arc are even referred to in a later arc in the Manga.
