woops an update B) i was going to separate these two trees in different deviations but it makes sense to combine them!

the CMC and spike are young adults, around the same ages of the mane six in the show, so they don't quite have kids yet

clear sky & spitfire met through rainbow dash! clear sky broke it off with quibble pants after a while. spitfire and clear sky are still just dating, but wind sprint considers spitfire a parent of hers, and spitfire is incredibly excited to have a sporty kid.

identity: bisexual demiboy (he/they)

honestly, spike is kind of a hard character for me to place in my next gen. i think he was mishandled by the show writers a lot of the time and not really given enough to do, not to mention the weird mother-sister relationship he has with twilight. he still lives with twilight in the castle and is in a poly relationship with gabby and sweetie, and helps a lot around the school.

gabby lives in ponyville now and is a mail deliverer full-time.

    - sweetie belle

identity: bisexual mare (she/her)

an opera singer! her voice deepens as she gets older and she becomes a famous contralto.

    - scootaloo

identity: transmasc nonbinary lesbian (he/they)

after their stunts with the washouts, scootaloo finds ways to make stunt shows and performances a lot safer, and starts his own pony equivalent of the X-games.

    - wind sprint

identity: lesbian mare (she/her)

a racer, specifically one who specializes in dashes and short-distance sprint wing races.

    - apple bloom

identity: lesbian mare (she/her)

an architect, designer, and painter. she obviously specializes in utility buildings like barns and silos.

    - diamond tiara

identity: butch lesbian mare (she/he)

the soon-to-be mayor of ponyville! she's mayor mare's personal assistant and uses her talent to organize events and such; a natural leader.

    - big macintosh ;"pa"

identity: genderfluid bisexual (he/she)

in my next gen, big mac never did more than date sugar belle. the two broke it off without any grievances with one another.  big mac eventually realized after the orchard blossom thing that he was really comfortable presenting in a more feminine way, and started identifying as genderfluid. the pink ribbon was a gift from apple bloom when she came out to her family.

    - flash sentry ; "dad"

identity: gay trans stallion (he/him)

these two met through the Ponytones. flash sentry had recently quit his job as a royal guard because he was getting older, and was perusing different places he could live, eventually settling on ponyville. flash, being a music guy, was interested in the live music that the ponytones provided. big mac caught his eye and the two hit it off.
