I joined dA back in January of 2005 and I was instantly addicted. Amazed that I found a place where I could share my hobby while I tried to improve on it. Still working on that part, by the way!
I was shocked when I received senior status at the tail end of July/early August 2006. (I was in shock for so long I don't remember the exact date.) Even more shocked in September of 2008 when they decided to actually let me help out with the forums I've become hopelessly addicted to. 4 years later I'm back to being a senior and trying to get back into being a more active again.
