I'm saddened to see what Churbles developers did to the fans and the backers :shakes head sadly:
Hello,
I'm also very sad that the project got canceled as I learned a lot from working on it back when I was still in high school. I left after the concerting phase was over but from what I understand there were not enough people and/or resources to create what they promised at that point.
if I was offered a job like that today I wouldn't take it because I now know the scale of developing a game, even just a simple one.
If you feel you want to contact the devs (as I am a concept artist) please refer to the owner of crashgem studio.
howdy
I was looking forward for the game and rather I'm disappointed, in case if you're not aware that the the Crashgem founder deleted every accounts including his website but I heard that the backer said they can contact him on his personal account and I know not everyone will do it. stay safe from the backers and the fans since some are angry and they're like hunting down anyone who worked for Churbles
Well all I can say is people have different kinds of jobs when developing a project and mine was visual direction, not managing the scope of the game or the budget. That is the job of a CEO and project manager. If he doesn't want to be confronted about it there is no point in harrassing people that simply fullfilled their task until they were fired. If people feel like they have to "hunt" people down then they will do that.
All I can do is let them know my part of the story.
Sorry that the game didn't get made. Such is the risk of a Kickstarter project. Those decisions were not in my power.
