Questions?

Answers!  Note me if you would like to commission me or contact me through any of the websites listed below (excluding Livestream).
Questions about payment information, etc. are handled privately and will be deleted if submitted below.  A FAQ is available beneath this section for your convenience.

How do I get a quote/request a commission?
Simply Ask me on Tumblr and we'll get the conversation started.  Please include the details of your request with your Ask so that I may include a price quote and estimated completion date with my reply.

Do you still take free requests?
Yes!  However, which I will handle for free is at my discretion and my willingness is subject to change on a day-to-day basis as well as how full my queue is.  There are some requests which I will refuse outright if I feel they're too complex or complicated to do for free.

I'm currently going through Riven Phoenix's excellent "The Structure of Man" video series, so there'll be a big upswing in human reference works, etc.   If any of you have trouble drawing the human figure, I highly recommend it.

This doesn't mean I won't be uploading things unrelated to it but I do want to apologize as it'll be sort of high-volume compared to my usual ever-so-often submission.  It shouldn't affect most of you who are watching me as I'll be mainly uploading to Scraps.

It's surprising how quickly you can absorb the information he has to offer if you're willing to put in the time and effort -- but it's a *long* course.  I'm talking eighteen hours to get completely through the introductory "Invention of the Skeleton" series.  But he's very thorough, patient, and pauses to reinforce things he's taught or allow creativity.

Some of the series is available for free off his website: www.alienthink.com/inventionto… (<-- link)

Go give it a shot if you're interested!

Welcome!

Anyone following my scraps lately has probably noticed a sudden upswing in 'comic-style' scraps.  Well, I'm intending on pushing a few short ones out.
This may result in some actual comic deviations and I won't guarantee that I'll be using MLP:FIM as my basis for them.

"A Flame in the Dark" is being set in the Pocket Monsters universe, for instance.  I was originally planning a whole series for it but I'm still iffy on it.

This doesn't mean that I'm no longer drawing MLP:FIM-related artwork.  I'm just diversifying.  Truth be told, I've always wanted to work with visual novels.
All this is just more training for my hands.  I'm also doing a lot more free-draw stuff lately; it's helping me out with volumes a lot.

More information about any long-run comics and such will be posted here, so keep an eye out if you do enjoy reading comics.

Anyway, just wanted to let folks know what was what.  Thanks, y'all, for subscribing; it means more than ya know.

Are the new viewers gone yet? D:

(Little duckies)

So, now that things have settled down a bit, I think I'll come out of my hermit cave and start posting again.  There's already a new scrap or two over in the gallery for those who didn't subscribe to my scraps; the most recent of which is well on the path to becoming a full deviation.  Check it out if you'd like to compare it against the full piece I intend to have out by the end of the day.

Thanks for stopping by! :D

Not quite sure what I'm going to do with all these new followers and all.  The pressure has been doubled; if not tripled!

I hope to reward your choice to be informed of when I post new pieces by being a little more selective with what I post to my featured list.  Beforehand for a piece to get into featured it *had* to at least be 95% complete and semi-final.   I think I'm going to crank those standards up a bit since, most of you coming from EqD, you're probably expecting higher quality than I normally deliver.

Still, I always post my pieces; featured or not.  This includes practice work that I do and other stuff like it as long as it's at least somewhat interesting to look at.  If you want to be informed of when I post that scratch/exploratory art *you must subscribe to my scrap updates*.  I don't post about them here because, normally, I try to keep the party in the front and the sketching madness in the back!

Anywho, I'm honored to have you all and I hope you enjoy my works!  Thanks, everyone, for subscribing!!
Sorry for the long absence.  Between moving to a new city, getting some rush work done, getting settled in, and learning human anatomy a little better, I've been pretty busy!

Check out the scraps to catch up with what I've been working on lately.
Put up a couple of quick pieces in the Scrapbook this evening after attempting a couple of 5-minute challenges; inspired by DarkFlame's.

They're a mixed bag of quality, but I think "The Battlements" and "The King's Shield" are a cut above my usual quality.  I feel good about them, seeing that they each took well under an hour to get from scratch to there.

Thanks for dropping by and I hope you enjoy the new pieces; updates may be a little sporadic as my role in our studio's project is expanding rapidly.  I will endeavor to keep drawing and updating!
So if you've been following me or have just dropped by, you might've noticed that though I've got a lot of activity, I don't seem to have that many deviations.

Most of my current artwork is in the Scrapbook section as most of the art I've been drawing have been on my streams, where I constrain the time I have to complete any piece.  The pieces I would be submitting contain uncleaned works, possible anatomical problems, and so forth.

I do on occasionaly clean up, shade, and enlarge my sketches (as seen in Best Seat in the House).  As I grow as an artist, I will likely be submitting more Deviations as my skills sharpen.

I always submit all the work that I do in my streams, so check back often if you're interested in what I post to my scrapbook!

Thanks for your attention. :)
