I would really love to hear thoughts on this because I'm not sure how I feel about it. It was interesting creating it because I didn't originally plan it to come out like it did (like most Everything I do).
Feedback is welcome...

I wish I new how to combine these kinds of elements with your mastery.

I find this emotionally profound as it touches on elemental spiritual issues within a Christian worldview. It appears as if the subject is reverencing the cross in humble submission and this act seems to correlate with the light shining in from the clouds, perhaps the presence of God, which seems to be destroying the subjects wings.

This is not a message of "clipped wings" because the the wings appear to be demonic or satanic, and their destruction the subject is freed from her subjugation to decay and the devil. It's interesting, too that the landscape is barren. Sticking with a Christian motif we can say this represents the decay inherent in a fallen world that awaits "groaning as in the pangs of birth in anticipation of the revelation of the sons of God." That's from the Epistle of the Romans.....

Awesome... just awesome. I like how you depicted the fallen angel by giving her burning wings. I also love the dramatic lighting coming down upon the angel from the sky above the cross.
