Twilight, made with my new rearing pattern, is a commission for TheNoTalentLoser. She is made of Lilac, Midnight Blue, Fuschia and Purple minky, with applique eyes and cutie marks. Her wings and tail are wired for support, and her tail is weighted for balance. She is 17" tall to the top of her head.
I just LOVE how this girl looks. Her expression in particular makes me happy every time I see it! The pictures really don't do this one justice. I can NEVER seem to photograph purple minky colors so that they turn out looking like they do in real life! She's much more purple than she looks here. I learned a few things with this plush - chiefly that if I'm going to make ponies with this pattern, they need to have LONG tails. Twilight here balances on the tip of her tail, but would be much more secure if there was more tail in contact with the substrate.

Long tails?! But I want to see Big Mac balance like that
. No not really, though now (evil plotting side of my brain at work) I kinda want to see this fav.me/d49ccgo he he he
Anyway, she looks great! Realizing I've missed a lot of good art over the last month :/ --- nice to be catching up on it though
you seem to be having fun

Haha
Trixie would be fun to do in the rearing pose - although the ref you sent is almost more anthro than anything else, and I've run into big problems with anthro patterns in the past
I am having fun! I hope you've been missing things because there are fun and interesting things going on in your life

I hear you on the anthro vs standard build - I often notice ponies ending up with more human like front shoulders than they should lol. That new design for Fluttershy came out great - not that your other work isn't, but I can see why you're saying she looks very professionally done. Sadly down time was due to injuries from a car accident - long story short was stopped at a red light and hit by someone on their phone doing 30+ and pushed into traffic :/. Doing much better now. The killer was I missed my summer job interview because of it. On the bright side because I can't stand sitting around doing nothing, like today got two of my old bikes working again, I've been making quick work of my to do list around the house. My girlfriend is enjoying having my car - the meds they put me on I can't drive. Already have a job lined up for August, and my emergency fund will cover me until then, so no worries there either. Lol I've gone on a rant again ---- Seriously though these last couple ponies are fantastic
(and that's not the meds talking).

Thanks! I'm much better now anyway - for the first three days my nerves were pinched by swelling in my neck and I couldn't feel my arms - that was the scariest part - Now I'm just on Motrin and muscle relaxers about 90% back to normal the doctors figure I still have another month --- Don't get old you heal slower lol. The other thing that happens with ADD and to much free time sta.sh/01mfzqnloki9 is this closer to the real color? Also are you using sun lamps for the photos?

Ugh, that sounds awful. I'm glad you're healing, albeit slowly. I've noticed my healing's seriously slowed down in the last few years, too. I hope you heal up completely soon!
Mmmm...she's certainly purplier than she looks in the photos, but I think that's a bit too pink. I've started learning how to use my camera better since I was so unhappy with these photos - I'll have to make another Twi with these colors and see if I can take better pictures now!

Thanks, pretty much down to my right hand constantly feels some what numb / prune like - as if I stayed in water for too long. Yeah - any more adjustment she just became neon in color lol. Hard to adjust color without actually seeing it in person. Good luck, might want to check into polarizing or UV filters for the camera not sure if they help with plushies. And I want to see a rearing RD
