MLP Sphinx

The Sphinx was a commission for the always wonderful wobwobwobniaR to go with the Somnambula I made a little while ago. What a project! I learned a lot with this one. They are absolutely massive at 24" to the top of their head, and along with the massive wings took something like 4 metres of fabric to pull off. Here is a picture of it Defeating me in Battle. They were made with a custom pattern from Magenta, Mauve, Amethyst, Purple and Bright Yellow minky with appliqued details. The wings and tail are fully wired and posable. I really love how their sadistically devious expression turned out, and also those thread sculpted paws. Gotta love paws.
