i do have a question on how you made the costume. did you find a basic pattern or did you make it all from scratch?

The red hair is fantastically incongruous with the dress - and I guess you could say that it lends to that sense of insanity. The background looks almost surreal, and it's as if she's merging with it.

...oh. Actually, one part that I was a little =(-ish about were the cuffs. Cuffs were always a bit awkward for me. But they did keep her arms grounded with her body and kept them from melting into the background, so I was alright with them.

Anyways, the drapery on the dress is fantastic. I especially love the sleeves. I want a dress -someday- with sleeves and a bodice and a skirt like that. It's a lovely dress.

Gorgeous. Is that your real hair or a wig? And I love the dress! It's a shame that if you were Ophelia you would have ended up dead in a river. :(

I really like this costume concept.
Curious, is that your real hair? Like dyed? or is it a wig?

I just have to ask.. What is the bodice made from? From the photograph, it looks like some sort of textured leather?
It's a very beautiful interpretation :)

Wonderful use of reds and greens! I love the background, it helps bring out Ophelia's unstable mentality (although, I don't see her being a red-head :XD: ).
