Well, it's Christmas. And at the moment I can't believe how beautiful human Love as expressed in stories is, so that's a good state to be in. And a bit overwhelmed by it all... I let something slip on my blog and then a friend asked about it, and I realized I hadn't mentioned it online before... at the end of next Spring my sister and I will be moving out of Texas, to Minnesota. At first we'll be living in our family's Summer Home until we can get enough income to buy a little farm. If all goes as planned, this won't affect my activity in this realm, that is the interwebs, much, but it is a big deal. One thing we're doing right now to prepare is buying our own Christmas decorations. That's very important.

So for Christmas this year, probably my last in Texas, I gave:
Whiskey to my father, a set of china to my mother, Paper Mario Sticker Star and a Koopa plushie to GuildmasterPhill , a fancy blank book and fancy socks to PallidaPapillio , and a dress, a bear hat, and Flash & Green Lantern: Faster Friends to eightcrows, and I'm working on something for J-Cutter but it still won't be ready for some time and he won't answer me on facebook as to when his birthday is!

I received:
A treadle-powered antique sewing machine and lots of nail polish from Santa, Enigmas and Riddles in Literature from my parents, a Texas Art Supply gift card from GuildmasterPhill , a special stick to rest your arm on while painting from PallidaPapillio , and a Sixth Doctor t-shirt, Морозко, and a Robin and a Bat symbol pin from eightcrows.

I've got so much art I want to do now that that huge old coloring book is done! For one thing, I want to color a lot of the pages, but elsewise too. I started a picture for the Doctor Who anniversary back in early Spring but I didn't finish it in time for the Day and will I even be able to finish it in the Year? You know I was very pleasantly surprised and impressed with the anniversary special. The previews were making it look like OH MY GOSH THE DRAMA THE UNIVERSE and I wasn't very enthused... my thoughts were that an anniversary celebration should be FUN and multi-Doctor episodes should be FUN... well as it turned out, it was quite FUN, as well as dramatic! I was thinking I'd hate them bringing back Rose but it turns out they didn't and I actually really liked Billie Piper's performance. And then the Christmas special, which I just saw, was very good too! They tied up the loose ends, and it was funny and sweet and sad. And the Sherlock mini episode! Oh my gosh I can't... we just rewatched the second season in preparation... man, what perfect art this is. I honestly think Martin Freeman is the greatest actor I've ever seen. Oh and the Hobbit! That pleasantly exceeded my expectations too! I was really worried about this Tauriel fellow but it was much better I think to make the romantic story there with Kili rather than Legolas as the preview implied... I mean you could see it as a love triangle but I never saw any indications between Legolas and her; it just seemed like that was all in Thranduil's head--who by the way seemed kinda psycho... not sure what that's about. Anyway, the last movie is shaping up to be really heartbreaking, dude.

Anyway, I also want to do at least two more Christmas pictures, and several DC things, both Decadence and pure fanart. Oh, stuff, I love it!
