Being as Christmas Day, December 25th, 2016, that is today, is the day on which, just after midnight, on Gourd Lake, Miles Edgeworth was framed for the murder of Robert Hammond, and in the morning, Phoenix Wright took it upon himself to defend him, leading to Justice for the murder of Gregory Edgeworth and the restoration of Miles Edgeworth to the path of Truth; in the context of our yearly tribute to the birth of our Lord, I want also to pay tribute to this story, which, as all good stories do, reflects that central tale of Salvation.

I will do this by twelve pieces of fanart, done by day and named by year: the Christmases of several years and what was happening then in the story of Ace Attorney. While I'll stick with what was happening, I'm gonna not be strictly literal in the visuals thereof, to be symbolic and also make things more Christmassy. 2016 will get more than one picture and, of course, be crucial, and I will span the whole chronology of Christmases that have been revealed (in English releases) so far.
I will append my standard "SPLR" prefix to the titles of the pictures that will be spoilery for one at the point in the games which SuperheroGeek13 is at, that is, having played the first trilogy. If you're at a different point and care about spoilers and want to see what ones you may, just let me know and I'll be happy to tell you which are spoilery for wherever you're at.
If you were around in 2009, I did a similar thing with a picture on each of the twelve days of Christmas then. It was great for my drawing speed and perseverance. I hope this will be so again. If you were around at the beginning of this year, I made a kind of New Year's semi-resolution to draw a lot more than I had in 2015. Well, I didn't exactly keep to that, (not to even mention the getting up early part!) going by how much I posted here anyways. I did do a fair amount of freelance stuff that I didn't post here, and I don't have regrets about how much I did accomplish, but still, I did not draw nearly enough. I only got one Decadence chapter up in the whole year!
So this 12 Days project is to jumpstart me into the new year of drawing, drawing, and more drawing!I don't think I'll do the normal list of presents given and received this year, as so many of them were equally to me and eightcrows so when she does so, then we'll know!
