Never cry in front of strangers

I started this back when we were playing Investigations 2, and was thinking of eventually inking and coloring it, but I liked the pencil lines too much and so just polished them a bit.

Spoilers for Ace Attorney Investigations 2 and Ace Attorney Dual Destinies!

Forgotten Turnabout is really, wow, and sad. And I tell you, before then, the idea of shipping Miles Edgeworth and Kay Faraday romantically never crossed my mind. But then, oh then, the way in which he begs her to believe in him, gives up what had been in a sense the most important thing to save her, and then has lines to her very similar to Phoenix's line to Iris that reveals he's still in love with her, I just...

I was a little unsure after she recovered because they pretty much fell back into their old pattern, but he keeps just having thoughts of admiration for her, and how it ends going forth together as the new Yatagarasu along with Gumshoe... so I really liked it, but I still wasn't positive because I knew Dual Destinies was coming and I didn't know what would happen in that. I didn't want to be like the folks who rejected Iris when she came along because they were already shipping Phoenix and Maya! I didn't expect him to be in it, but still I wanted to wait and see...

And then he was in it! Wow, that was so awesome! I'm really glad I didn't get spoiled for that; it was so exciting when you cut to his office and realize-- And even though Kay wasn't in it, somehow that really made me, yes, sure that I do indeed ship them. I think it's the fact that it's so cool that he's the Chief Prosecutor now and would also secretly be part of this legendary thief vigilante team, and also, I'd imagine that now that Kay is older, her regular personality might have shifted a little more towards the aspects that she showed in Forgotten Turnabout that first led to Edgeworth acting that way about her.
