I've been leading a game development (programmers, designers, artists, an audio tech, and a composure) team trouble making a 2D platformer puzzle game under the title "Red Sun" (the dev blog: redsungamedev.blogspot.ca/
) and that has been consuming much of my time. I am hoping to have something presentable by the end of summer and we'll have to see where the project goes from there.
I've also seen several movies recently that I really enjoyed. The aliens from "Edge of Tomorrow" were awesome. Transformers: Age of Extinction was three hours of explosions, over sized battles, and metal dinos (if you want something else out of the movie, you are in the wrong place).
I started going back trough the CrashCourse series over on YouTube. A lot of the information isn't new but I feel like having the refresher now and then keeps my university degree in working order. I still love thumbing through my biology textbook.
New recent games I've been playing include Wildstar and Game of the Year Edition of Plants vs. Zombies. All fun stuff and I hope all of you are having as much fun.
