Hello have you heard about fire emblem Descendants???
Fire Emblem Fates Character Comparison I've been playing a Nintendo 3DS game called 'Fire Emblem Fates', released in 2016 in three parts: Birthright, Conquest, and Revelation. This game is widely considered by the fanbase to have one of the weakest stories in the Fire Emblem series, though with the recent release of Engage earlier this year, which of them has the weaker story is up for debate. The main character in Fates is your custom avatar(default name is Corrin). Corrin was born in Hoshido, but raised in Nohr. They also happen to be half dragon/half human. After finding out the truth about their origins, Corrin goes on a quest to unite the land. ,,,One of the biggest criticisms about Corrin is how the entire main cast worships them for no reason. They are also 'The Chosen One' and gets the sacred sword Yato without going through any harsh trials whatsoever. The game also doesn't explain very well why Corrin was abducted as opposed to being straight up killed at the beginning of the game. Because you know, plot needs to happen. ,https://youtu.be/JNaIwuPqYH0?si=iCnezyCt_T8l8zYyA town gets destroyed, Corrin turns into a dragon for the first time, and obtains the legendary sword Yato, all in the same chapter. There's also the problem of Corrin's personality. They are just too trusting. This is even lampshaded by Xander himself in Revelation! If I was abducted for most of my childhood, I wouldn't be very trusting. I think a more relatable character in Fates would be one of the side characters who is called Dwyer. This character is the son of Corrin's butler Jakob, and just like Jakob, Dwyer was trained to be a butler as well.,Why do I think Dwyer is more relatable? For once, he hates fighting and would rather spend the day sleeping. He's usually apathetic, lazy, and sarcastic, often correcting grammar errors. However, deep down, he is actually kind, willing to make friends, and can make the best tea and coffee ever. ,https://youtu.be/vGbT2oJzbgU?si=gMDlLWxxqeYNWoVcOphelia calls Dwyer the 'Legendary Brewer'. He's also willing to help others in times of need, such as healing others. The mobile app game Heroes actually came close to giving Dwyer more time in the spotlight in one of the 'Forging Bonds' events where he saved the day after his friend Ophelia went nuts. ,,,https://youtu.be/kB23t23oo5k That's right! They didn't need Corrin's help to save the day this time!
