Is starting to get cold here in Peru, time to clean the tiger blankets :v

There is an old brand of blankets in Peru, widely known as "Tiger blankets" (in spanish: frazadas tigre) because of their characteristic design that shows two tigers facing each other, they are very warm and VERY HEAVY. There are many memes of them, because almost all peruvians have one or have had one during their lives.

Oh, that's right. Peru is in the Southern Hemisphere. It's getting warmer in the Northern Hemisphere where I live, so I have the opposite problem; I need to put the heavy blankets away and get out the lighter ones.

By the way, how cold does is get during a Peruvian winter? Just curious.

Winter temperatures in Perú depends on the province, coastal provinces range between 13 and 15 °C, mountain provinces range between -4 °C and 14 °C (some with snowfall) and jungle provinces are around +20 °C . The capitol city, Lima is always cloudy in winter. :)

Okay, 13 to 15ºC is around jacket weather for me, -4 is definitely cold, but not too much below freezing, and 20 is chilly for me at best…. I'd say it doesn't get too cold in Peru in the winter. Sounds almost like Ohio.

Thanks for telling me. That heavy blanket will come in handy for those below-freezing nights.
