The Scavengers

Comission for the monsters series on the blog Bravo Charlie Sierra.

The Scavengers are large, often taller than a human, and birdlike with heavy beaks and black feathers. Their bodies are covered in hundreds of tiny wings though they cannot fly. Scavengers will eat anything that has died, though they are shy and avoid confrontation. Very rarely, if they are hungry, they will venture into the edge of human spaces to steal dogs and, if lucky, small children.
