"William and Friends"

"Can You Hear the TNT Tonight?"

It was the beginning of the afternoon in Minecraftia and it was a calm day so far at William's house. Ted and Zef were in front of the house playing rock paper scissors. So far, Ted was winning, much to Zef's sadness.

"Aww Ted, how do you keep winning all the time?" asked Zef.

Ted chuckled and said with a smile, "You always pick rock. No wonder I always get a pretty good idea how to beat you at this game. Try picking paper or scissors sometimes."

"But I love picking rock! It reminds me of the time we used to live in caves at daytime before we met William. It wasn't always comfortable but I loved exploring caves. Even if it was scary inside..." Zef said shivering at the last sentence. Ted chuckled at his reaction.

"Well, my dear brother, if you want I can ask William if the whole group can go explore some of the caves that are spread around in the forest when we'll have time. Would you like that?" offered Ted. Zef smiled happily at his brother and began jumping up and down in excitement.

"Oh man oh man oh man, I'd love to! Thanks Ted!" said Zef as he hugged Ted cheerfully.

"Heh, no problem." Ted said with a smile as hugged Zef back.

When the two zombie brothers separated from the hug, they turned their head to the right and saw Mike walking toward them. He was rubbing his left cheek which was reddened. Ted smirked figuring Mike had probably tried once again to flirt with a girl but was once again rejected.

"What the heck happened, Mike? Tried flirting with a girl again?" said Ted jokingly.

"Tell me about it... I tried my chance again with Jessica but... Damn, she's got one heck of a punch..." groaned Mike as he kept rubbing his painful cheek.

"Haha. I bet," said Ted as Zef approached Mike and opened his arms for a hug.

"Do you want a hug to make you feel better?" Zef asked with a goofy grin.

Mike shook his head and said, "Uh, thanks Zef but I'm good."

"Oh okay. Well, anytime you want, okay?" said Zef as he let his arms fall to his sides. Ted couldn't help but chuckle at his brother's actions.

Suddenly, the trio heard an explosion nearby followed by a happy familiar voice, "Pay dirt! Woo!". They turned to the source of the explosion and it was none other than Wilrus who was working on a cannon-like structure made of stone, redstone, redstone repeaters and water. He had his fist raised in the air in victory showing that he got the result he wanted. Ted groaned in annoyance.

"Ugh... Here he goes again with his TNT and stuff..." Ted said rolling his eyes.

He, Mike and Zef walked toward Wilrus, the latter noticed them and grinned at them.

"Hey, my dear friends!" Wilrus said happily.

"Hey, uh, Wilrus. What's all that?" asked Mike.

"Oh this? This... is the future," Wilrus said putting his hands on his hips. Mike, Ted and Zef looked at him in confusion.

"Well, the 'future' kinda looks like a pile of stones, redstone and water," said Mike.

"Damn Mike, I thought you'd recognize a TNT cannon when you see one. I mean, you use a rifle as a weapon," said Wilrus.

"Doesn't mean I've seen one before," said Mike.

"A TNT cannon. Yay." Ted said sarcastically. Wilrus glared at him in response.

"You've got a problem with my cannon, deadhead?" Wilrus asked irritated.

"Guys, don't get started now," said Mike, not wanting the two to start an argument again. He sighed and said, "Wilrus, you know William is not gonna like seeing this here, especially around the house."

"Oh please! With my brother around, the next thing we know we won't be allowed to go outside anymore," said Wilrus rolling his eyes.

"Dude, you're saying that like it's a dictatorship," said Mike raising an eyebrow.

"That's how it feels like to me, Mikey. I can't even do whatever I want," said Wilrus.

"For obvious reasons, genius. All you do is playing with TNT and it's dangerous as heck, especially in your hands. You even blew up half of the house by bringing a TNT once and we had to rebuild everything before William could find out!" said Ted angrily.

"How many time do I have to tell you, cupcake? It's deadhead number two over here who had lit my TNT up by playing with my freaking flint and steel!" said Wilrus, pointing at Zef who looked away in shame.

"Guys, keep it down!" said a panicking Mike who looked behind him to make sure William wasn't around to hear them.

"It looks kinda scary," said Zef, rubbing his left arm.

"Aw, come on deadhead, you ain't afraid of a little TNT, are you?" Wilrus asked mockingly.

"It makes loud noises and I don't like loud noises..." Zef said a bit ashamed. Wilrus just rolled his eyes in response.

"What's going on here? Why did I just hear an explosion?" said a familiar voice behind the group. Everyone turned around to see William walking toward them, attracted by the explosion he heard before. He noticed Wilrus's TNT cannon and asked, "What the heck is that?".

"Oh hey William! Look, I just made a TNT cannon," Wilrus said as he showed his creation to his brother.

William sighed in annoyance and said, "Wilrus, we already talked about this and I don't want any TNT or device using TNT around the house."

"Oh come on, William, lighten up for once! Plus, this cannon here can help us clear a large group of mobs easily if they go near our house at night, " Wilrus said in defence.

"It's not safe to have this around the house," said William.

"Oh please! I've made it safe to use!" argued Wilrus.

"Someone could get hurt! YOU could get hurt using it!" argued William.

"What?! So you don't trust me now?!" Wilrus asked offended.

"Everytime it involves YOU and TNT, something gets blown up!" argued William.

"Oh you worry too much, brother. As always," Wilrus said as he leaned against his cannon. "I'm telling you, this cannon is safe to use," he added patting his cannon.

However, to everyone's surprise and somehow, the TNT that Wilrus had placed in the cannon was suddenly activated. Everyone started to panic.

"Whoa! What?! How?!" Wilrus asked in confusion.

    "Dammit! TAKE COVER!!!" shouted William.

Everyone did as they were told and jumped away from the TNT just in time before the TNT explodes, activating the cannon and causing a loud noise. However, although everyone managed to jump away safely, the noise of the explosion was quite loud and William was the closest to the explosion, which seriously damages his left ear's eardrum.

"Aaaah!! My ear! Dammit!!!" William screamed as he held his left ear in pain. His friends got up and ran up to him.

"Wow, you okay man?" Mike asked William as he helped him up.

"My ear! It hurts!" William said in pain.

"Easy there, buddy. Let's get to you to the doctor," Mike said as he supported him.

The group took William to Dr. Sanders's office at Asgarnia. Doctor Owen Sanders is the only doctor at Asgarnia and one of the best doctors of the kingdom. The doctor was checking William's left ear with an otoscope under the worried looks of the blacksmith's friends. After he finished checking William's ear, he turned to face the group and by the look of his face it didn't look good.

"So, doctor? How is his ear?" Mike asked worried.

Dr. Sanders looked at William for a second, then back to the group. He sighed and said, "I'm gonna be honest with you, it doesn't look good... The noise of the explosion has seriously damaged the eardrum in his left ear." The group looked down in sadness.

    "Damn..." Ted said saddened.

"What are the consequences, doctor?" William asked worriedly. Although his left ear was damaged and he couldn't hear well from that ear, he could still ear perfectly from his right ear.

"With your eardrum damaged, you cannot stand near any place or exercise any activity that involves a loud noise. There's a reason for that and that's where I come up with a good news," said Dr. Sanders. William and his friends seem relieved that there is a good news.

"What is it, doctor?" asked William.

"Thankfully, the damage is not irreversible. If you rest and avoid anything that causes a loud noise for a certain amount of time, your ear will heal itself and you'll be able to hear from that ear again soon after that," the doctor said with a smile. William and his friends sighed in relief.

"So how long do I have to rest before my ear will be fully healed?" asked William.

"According to the severity of the damage, it could take one or two months to fully heal," said the doctor. William's smile dropped, he remembered that he has to deliver some weapons and tools to a blacksmith who hosts a booth at Asgarnia's market in two weeks, and he still hasn't finished crafting all of them. He required the anvil use for his weapons and tools and that could involve loud noise.

"But I have someone who needs weapons and tools for the market in town in two weeks, and I still haven't finished crafting them. Can I still do that?" William asked worriedly.

Dr. Sanders shook his head and said, "I'm sorry Mr. Smith, but if you need an anvil for that you can't. If your ear is exposed to any loud noise, you'll risk damaging it even more and you might lose the ability to hear from it permanently."

"Damn..." William sighed sadly, looking down. His friends did the same.

Ted's sad expression turned into an angry one and looked at Wilrus angrily. "'Safe' you were saying, huh?" he said bitterly.

"Hey! How was I supposed to know the TNT was gonna go off?! I don't even know how it did anyway!" Wilrus said in defence.

"Well it did! And now William has a severly damaged ear and won't be able to work for weeks!" Ted exclaimed in anger.

"Guys, now is not the time..." said William, trying to break the argument between the two. But Ted and Wilrus ignored him and kept arguing.

"So you're saying it's my fault?!" Wilrus asked angrily.

"You're the one who built that TNT cannon! William told you not use explosives near the house and you didn't listen!" half-shouted Ted.

"Guys, this won't solve anything!" William said a little louder, only to be ignored once again by the two.

"The TNT went off somehow, it wasn't my fault!" Wilrus almost shouted.

"Speak for yourself, cyclops!" Ted shouted angrily.

"WELL SCREW YOU, DEADHEAD!!!" Wilrus shouted loudly.

Wilrus's shout was too loud for William's left ear to handle, causing William to hold it in pain. "Aaahhh! Dammit!" he shouted painfully. This immediately caused Ted and Wilrus to stop arguing and look at William who was still holding his ear in pain. Mike and Zef went to William's side to support him.

"Take it easy man..." said Mike.

Dr. Sanders put his hands on his hips and looked at Ted and Wilrus in annoyance. "Gentlemen please, you have to get ahold of yourselves. Even shouting near your friend can damage his eardrum even further. Do you want him to lose his ability to hear from his left ear?" he said on a serious tone. Ted looked down and rubbed his left arm in shame. Wilrus, on the other hand, was still frustrated about how Ted was blaming him for what happened.

"You know what, deadhead? Since you think it's my fault, then I'm outta here! Good bye!" Wilrus told Ted angrily before running off.

"Wilrus, wait! Wilrus!" Mike called out trying to stop Wilrus from running away, but it was too late as Wilrus had already left the office. Mike turned to Ted, irritated by the way he acted toward Wilrus, and asked, "Dude, the heck was that? Did you have to take it all out on him?". Ted hung his head in shame.

"I don't know... I got carried away and... I didn't mean for him to run off like that... I'm sorry..." Ted said with regret. Mike sighed and shook his head in disappointment.

"We have to go look for him. The way he is right now, we don't know how he's gonna take out his frustration out there," said William. he tried to stand up but Mike stopped him.

"Look man, you need to rest right now after what you experienced. I'll go look for him," said Mike.

"I'll come with you," said Ted. "Hopefully I'll get a chance to apologize to him. If he doesn't rip my head off first..." he continued with regret in his voice.

"Thanks, you two," William said gratefully.

Mike nodded and turned to Zef. "Zef, can you stay with him and accompagny him back home after the doctor is done with him?" he asked him.

"Yeah, not a problem. Hopefully I have some cookies left at the house, he could need some. And a hug too," Zef said with a goofy grin.

William chuckled and said with a smile, "I appreciate it, Zef, but I think I could only use some rest."

Mike looked at Dr. Sanders and said, "And doctor. Thanks."

"Not a problem. Go look for your friend, I'm taking care of Mr. Smith," the doctor said with a smile.

Mike nodded before he and Ted headed outside to go look for Wilrus, while Dr. Sanders and Zef stayed with William in the office.

Mike and Ted searched the streets of Asgarnia, calling Wilrus's name everywhere, but they didn't find him anywhere. They decided to ask people if they have seen Wilrus anywhere but strangely nobody saw Wilrus recently. When running off he must have avoided crossing people's path so he couldn't be found. Eventually, someone told them that they saw a man corresponding Wilrus's description who was running away and seemed very angry. According to them, Wilrus was heading out of town and into the forest. Mike and Ted thanked the man for the information and decided to head out of town. On their way out, Mike and Ted were wondering how the TNT in Wilrus's cannon could have suddenly be activated since nobody used any flint and steel on it at that moment. Their thoughts were interrupted when they heard some familiar voices nearby.

"Dude, are you sure? You looked everywhere in the house and in every chests, right?" asked one of the voices.

"Yeah Elliot, I swear! I checked the whole house and I didn't find it," said the other voice.

"Alright, I believe you Dave," said Elliot.

It was Elliot and Dave. William and his friends met them one day on their walk to Asgarnia. Dave was lost in an abandoned mine after he and Elliot crossed Wilrus's path and accidentally angered him, so William's gang along with Elliot went into the mines to search for Dave and thankfully found him. They were able to get out of there alive and, despite what happened with Wilrus, Elliot and Dave agreed to remain friends with the William's gang and Wilrus decided to forgive them seeing they weren't bullies and what they did was accidental.

Elliot sighed and said, "How could my latest invention just disappear like that...". Curious about their conversation, Mike and Ted went to greet them.

"Hey Elliot. Hey Dave," said Mike. Elliot and Dave turned to him and Ted.

"Oh hey, Mike and Ted. How are you two doing?" Elliot said with a smile.

"Not too good..." said Mike, rubbing the back of his head.

"Heh... I guess we're on the same boat here..." said Elliot. "What are you doing in town?" he asked.

"It's a long story... To be short, William had an accident with one of Wilrus's inventions involving TNT. Somehow it went off and the noise of the explosion has seriously damaged the eardrum in his left ear. He won't be able to work for a month at least because of the noise when working on the anvil," explained Mike.

"Damn... Sorry to hear that..." Elliot said with sympathy.

"It's fine. Thankfully it's not permanent and hopefully his ear will heal up, but we have another problem right now. Ted and Wilrus had an argument after we heard the news and Wilrus ran away from the doctor's office," Mike explained while Ted looked down ashamed that he made Wilrus run away. "We searched him in the streets but we didn't find him. But someone saw him and told us he was headed outside of town, so we're gonna search in the forest," he kept explaining.

"I see. Wilrus and we had our differences, but I hope that you'll find him and that nothing bad will happen to him out there," said Elliot.

"He'll be fine, he's tough as nails. We're more worried of what he'll do out there to take out his frustration," Mike said with a nervous smile.

"Heh, I think we know a thing or two," Elliot said with a smile. Dave was slightly shaking after hearing Wilrus's name. He was still traumatized after the near-death experience Wilrus made him as a punishment for accidentally throwing an egg at him. Elliot, Mike and Ted noticed his uneasiness.

"Dave, are you okay?" Elliot asked him with concern.

"Oh uh, yeah! I'm okay, don't worry," Dave answered, not wanting to worry his friend. He didn't tell Elliot or anyone else about what Wilrus had done to him because he was afraid of what Wilrus would do if he told Elliot the truth.

Elliot didn't buy his friend's lie but he decided to drop it for now. "Anyway, good luck on finding your friend. I have a problem of my own but me and Dave can solve it on our own," he continued.

"Really? What problem?" Mike asked with curiosity.

"My latest invention is gone. We've been searching the whole house for it but we didn't find it anywhere. I think someone stole it," explained Elliot.

"You create inventions?" Ted asked suprised.

"Yeah, I studied redstone when I was a kid. Got my engineering degree and ever since I make various devices using redstone and other materials," explained Elliot.

"Nice man," Ted complimented with a smile.

"Thanks," Elliot said smiling at him.

"So what is your missing invention?" Mike asked curious.

"It's a TNT triggering gun. I created it to activate TNTs at a distance," explained Elliot. That caught Mike and Ted's attention.

"Wait a minute. A TNT triggering gun?" Mike asked as he raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah. You can use it by aiming it at a TNT, then you pull the trigger and the TNT is activated just like if you used flint and steel on it. It's useful when you're being chased by a large group of mobs, you just drop a TNT behind you, you keep running while you pull out the gun and aim at the TNT, pull the trigger, and you can watch the mobs fly away in the air," Elliot explained with a smile.

Mike and Ted looked at each other and they thought the same thing. It's possible that it's this invention that was used to activate the TNT on Wilrus's cannon.

"What?" asked Elliot, confused by Mike and Ted's expression.

"Elliot, when did you lose your gun?" asked Mike.

"Well, I think I still had it early this morning, but I went to check on it an hour later it was gone. Why?" Elliot said raising an eyebrow.

This revelation seemed to confirm Mike's and Ted's suspicions: someone stole Elliot's TNT triggering gun and used it to activate the TNT on Wilrus's cannon when the whole group was gathered around it.

"Elliot... I think whoever stole your gun used it earlier on the TNT on Wilrus's cannon, and that was when the accident happened..." explained Mike. Elliot and Dave gasped in realisation and a sad look formed on their face.

"I... I think you're right... But who?" asked Elliot.

"I don't know, but we're gonna figure it out. Since the incident at our house and your gun theft are linked, how about we work together on finding the thief's identity?" offered Mike.

Elliot smiled and said, "It's a good idea. I'm in." He looked at Dave and asked, "What about you, Dave?".

"Yeah, I think we could all use some payback. I just hope it's not someone too dangerous..." said Dave.

"Good," Mike said with a smile.

    "What about Wilrus?" asked Ted.

"We can worry about him later. There's not much he can do in the forest and he'll be fine at the same time. We have to focus on the TNT triggering gun and the thief. Who knows what else they can do with it next," said Mike.

    "Yeah, you're right..." agreed Ted.

"But how are we gonna find the thief? It could have been anyone in this town or even outside of it," said Elliot.

"Well, it seems that this person had a grudge against William and the rest of us because he targeted us first," said Mike. "We don't have much enemies now ever since we defeated Herobrine and his army and saved the kingdom. Our best bet might be these three bullies who've been bothering us since we arrived in town: Bill, Stan, and Hans. They hate our guts and think we don't deserve to be heroes, they have a motive. We should go look for them first," he continued.

"Where can we find them?" asked Dave.

"They usually like to hang at this tavern 'The Blue Moon'. We should go there," said Ted.

"Good idea Ted. Let's go," said Mike.

With that said, Mike, Ted, Elliot and Dave started to head to The Blue Moon in order to find Bill, Stan and Hans and see if they're the ones who stole Elliot's TNT triggering gun and used it at William's house earlier.

After walking down a few streets, they were nearing The Blue Moon. They spotted Bill, Stan, and Hans from afar, they were chilling in front of the tavern but what caught their attention was a strange device in Stan's hand. Upon seeing it, Elliot frowned in anger.

"Hey! That's MY TNT triggering gun he's holding right now!" Elliot said through gritted teeth as he balled his fists in anger.

"So it WAS them who stole your TNT triggering gun. No doubt they also used against us earlier..." Ted said glaring at the three bullies.

"These three idiots seem very proud of themselves right now... How about we go say 'hi' to them..." Mike said visibly angry but keeping his cool.

As the four were walking toward the bullies, they could hear the conversation they were having.

"Haha! Nice aim back there, Stan. That oughta teach them a lesson," Bill said with a smirk.

"Thanks Bill. It was fun watching them jump out of the way like scared rabbits," Stan said proudly with an evil grin.

"Just a shame none of them were close enough to be hurt badly. It would've been even more satisfying," said Bill.

"I don't know. Pretty sure I heard William scream his head off before," Stan said with a smirk.

Bill chuckled evilly and said, "Yeah. Looks like that invention from that nerdy guy with the goggles came in handy here."

Now these revelations were enough evidence for Mike, Ted, Elliot and Dave. Bill, Stan and Hans were the ones who stole Elliot's invention and used it to activate the TNT that caused the eardrum in William's left ear to be seriously damaged. The four approached the bullies angrily. The latter noticed them and glared at them.

"What the heck do you want, losers?" Bill asked bitterly.

"That's MY TNT triggering gun you're holding right now!" Elliot said angrily as he pointed at the gun in Stan's hand.

"Oh, you mean this?" Stan asked with a smirk, showing the gun in his hand. "Nice toy, goggle," he added mockingly.

"Yeah, and very handy too. I didn't know there was a brain in your big head," Bill added mockingly. Stan and Hans chuckled at his comment.

"As if there was one in yours in the first place..." Elliot said back, causing Bill to glare at him.

"Ohhh burn!" Dave commented, shaking his right hand in the air.

"So you were the ones who activated the TNT in Wilrus's cannon at our house earlier!" Ted said angrily, pointing his finger at the three bullies.

"Wow, so there's also a brain in your rotten fleshed head. Nice," Bill said sarcastically. Stan and Hans chuckled once again at his comment.

"Says the one who is stupid enough to keep the only evidence that could link the act to them," Ted retorted angrily, making Bill growl angrily.

"Ohhhhhh, the street is on fire today!" Dave commented, shaking both of his hands in the air.

"I knew you were the biggest jerk in the universe, Bill, and I never thought you could go any lower..." Mike said calmly but angrily.

"What? We just gave what you and your stupid friends deserved! That's payback for what you did to us last Christmas!" said Bill.

"You deserved worse, William was too good to you. And now the eardrum in his left ear has been seriously damaged because of you!" Mike said, starting to lose his cool. Bill, Stan and Hans smirked proudly upon hearing this.

"Oh, did he go deaf? Ohhh, the poor little thing," Bill said mockingly. He, Stan and Hans laughed right after the comment. Mike was about to lose his temper but he stopped himself from doing so just in time.

After he finished laughing, Bill glared at Mike, Ted, Elliot and Dave as he was starting to get annoyed with their presence. "Alright, we've seen enough of you. Now get out of our faces!"

"We're not going anywhere. Not until I have my TNT triggering gun back..." Elliot said angrily. Bill, Stan and Hans looked at each other and smirked. It didn't seem like they were going to just give up the gun.

"Yeah no, I think we'll hold onto it. It's ours now," Bill said mockingly.

"In that case, I guess we'll take it by force," Mike said as he balled his fists.

Bill glared at him in response and said, "So that's a fight you want, huh?... Alright then..." He turned to Stan and Hans and said, "Guys?" Stan and Hans nodded and got into fighting position as Bill did the same. "We'll make you go away head first..." Bill said on a threatening tone. Mike, Ted, Elliot and Dave got into fighting postition as well. Looks like both groups were in for a fist fight.

Mike was going against Bill. Bill threw a punch at Mike but the latter used his arm to block it, twisted his arm and headbutted him which stunned Bill slightly. Mike then turned Bill around and twisted his arm behind his back, making Bill scream in pain, before throwing him violently against the wall. Bill fell on the ground, he tried to get back up but Mike went to him and kicked him in the face. Now Bill was too much in pain to get up.
Ted was going against Stan. Stan threw a punch at Ted, he dodged it but Stan threw him another one and hit him right across the mouth which nearly sent him to the ground but Ted managed to keep his balance. Ted quickly recovered from the hit, and when Stan attempted to punch him again he blocked it with his arm. Ted grabbed Stan's arm, blocked it and used his other arm to swing it around Stan's neck and keep him in a chokehold. Stan squirmed under Ted's hold trying to break free but Ted wouldn't let go. The latter kept choking Stan until he felt weak, he then released him but not without tossing him violently to the ground. Stan was too concerned about trying to catch his breath again and was too weak to get up.
Elliot was going against Hans while Dave remained on the side as back-up.

"I'm gonna hurt you bad, Streber!" Hans said as he threw a punch at Elliot. But Elliot blocked his hit, grabbed his arm before twisting it, turned Hans around and put on his knees while holding both of his arms behind his back.

"I'm rubber, you're glue," Elliot said as Hans was struggling and screaming in pain. Elliot looked at Dave and asked, "Dave, mind giving me a hand please?".

"Gladly," Dave said as he glared at Hans. He walked up to Hans and started punching him numerous times in the face and the guts. He kept punching him until Elliot stopped him.

"Alright, lesson learned. He's had enough," Elliot said before violently pushing Hans forward on the ground. Hans tried to get up but he was too bruised and in too much pain to do so.

With the three bullies beated and bruised, Elliot walked up to Stan - who was still on the ground trying to catch his breath - and picked up the TNT triggering gun that Stan dropped during the fight.

"I'm taking this back..." Elliot said with a satisfied expression.

"And that's payback for what you did to William," Mike said bitterly.

Bill groaned and coughed in pain. He was still on the ground and he was all bruised. "S-Screw you Mike... This isn't over... One day... we'll make you all pay for this..." he said, giving the group a death glare.

"Yeah and pigs will be flying when this'll happen, Billy," Mike said as he rolled his eyes.

"Oohhhhhhhh, the town is burning!" Dave commented, shaking both of his hands in the air.

"That's enough, Dave," Elliot said with an unamused look.

"Sorry," Dave said as he rubbed the back of his head, smiling nervously.

Mike shook his head and said, "Come on, guys. Let's get out of here..." With that said, Mike, Ted, Elliot and Dave walked away, leaving the three bullies bruised and beaten on the ground.

On the way back to Elliot and Dave's house, Elliot looked at his TNT triggering gun. He was happy that he got it back and saddened that it was used to hurt William and his friends. He sighed.

"Mike, Ted... I'm sorry that my invention was used against you all and got William's eardrum damaged..." he apologized.

"Ain't your fault, man. You couldn't have known that these bullies were gonna steal it and use it against us," said Mike.

"Yeah..." Elliot said with a sigh. "I think I'm gonna keep it locked up tight in a secured chest. I'll also have to create a security system for my house so noone else can try to break in and steal one of my inventions again," he continued.

"It's a good idea. Devices like this could make anyone want to have it and use it in any way," said Mike.

"Yeah, I gotta be careful about it," said Elliot.

After they reached Elliot and Dave's house, with the situation solved Mike and Ted decided that it was time to head into the forest to search for Wilrus as he was still missing. Elliot and Dave wished them good luck in their research and said goodbye. Mike and Ted left Asgarnia and began searching the forest, calling Wilrus's name everywhere they went. They kept searching for a few hours but they didn't find Wilrus anywhere. Eventually, the sun started to set so they decided to call it a day and head back to William's house because of mobs that were coming out at night.

"Well... We didn't find him anywhere... Maybe he went back to the house," said Mike.

"I hope so..." Ted said with a sad look. "I really messed up..."

Mike looked at him and asked, "What are you talking about, dude?".

Ted sighed and said, "It's not the first argument I had with Wilrus, but it never came to Wilrus storming off like that...". Mike patted him on the back to reassure him.

"Hey man, don't feel down like that. You were mad, you told your mind and it happened. At least, we found out who was responsible of the incident. Wilrus is probably fine, he can handle himself," Mike said with a smile. Ted smiled at him.

"Yeah, I guess you're right," Ted said reassured.

"He probably went back to the house. If not, we'll keep searching tomorrow," said Mike.

A few minutes later, Mike and Ted reached the house and the door opened to reveal Zef. The latter smiled brightly upon seeing them back and jumped up and down in excitement.

"William! William! They're back!" Zef said, looking back inside the house. A few seconds later, William came up to the door and smiled at the two.

"Hey, you two. Good to see you back," he said warmly.

"Hey dude. How is your ear?" asked Mike.

"It doesn't hurt as much as it did before, which is good. I'm doing what the doctor told me: rest and avoid exercing any activity that involves loud noise. This is unfortunate because I still need to finish crafting a few weapons and tools for that customers in two weeks, but I'll figure something out," William said with a smile.

"Alright," Mike said smiling. His smile fell and he said, "William, while searching for Wilrus we encountered Elliot and Dave. One of Elliot's invention was stolen, so we searched for the thief together and it turns out that Bill, Stan and Hans stole it. It was a TNT triggering gun and it was this device that activated the TNT from afar and caused the incident. Bill, Stan and Hans were the ones who did it, but we gave them a beating and got the gun back."

Upon hearing this, William sighed and shook his head in annoyance. "These three definitely have some serious issues... They need to quit causing us trouble like that," he said.

"Agreed," said Mike. He then sighed and said, "We didn't find Wilrus though... We searched everywhere but he was nowhere to be found." Instead of getting worried, William smiled.

"Don't worry about him, he's right here." William said as he pointed to the couch in the living room where Wilrus was sitting on it. The latter was playing with his diamond axe and had a blank expression on his face. "He came back about two hours before you," added William.

Mike smiled and said, "That means we don't have to worry about searching him again tomorrow. It's good to see he's okay."

"Yeah. Never thought I'd say this but I'm glad to see him here," Ted said with a smile. His smile turned into a sad look and he sighed. "I need to go apologize to him. I made him run off... I'm sorry about that, William," he said with regret. William smiled at him.

"It's fine, Ted. All that matters is that he's here, you and Mike too. Just be careful next time, alright?" said William.

"Yeah. I'll ease up on him a bit," Ted said before walking up to Wilrus.

As he arrived in front of Wilrus, Ted started feeling nervous. He was worried about how Wilrus will react upon seeing again after the argument they had that caused Wilrus to run off. For now, it didn't seem like Wilrus was paying any attention to him as he was focused on playing with his axe.

"Uhh... Hey Wilrus..." Ted said nervously, rubbing the back of his head. Wilrus didn't look at him and kept his blank expression, but he did start to speak to him nonetheless.

"Hey Ted. Good to see you and Mike back. I guess," Wilrus said, still playing with axe. Ted stood awkwardly in front of him for a few seconds, not saying a word. Eventually, he found the courage to speak.

"Look Wilrus... I just wanted to say sorry for... what I said to you back at the doctor's office... I got carried away and... well... I'm sorry for making you run off," Ted said sincerely.

Wilrus didn't say anything nor looked at Ted, and he still kept a blank expression while playing with his axe. Ted stayed in front of him, silent. Not daring to move, afraid of how Wilrus would react if he did since he could be unpredictable sometimes. Eventually after a minute of silence and awkwardness, Wilrus got up from the couch and looked at Ted, still keeping the same expression. Ted looked nervously at the axe Wilrus was holding tightly in his hand. He then flinched when Wilrus placed his other hand on his left shoulder. Finally, after a few more seconds, Wilrus decided to speak.

"I accept... your apology. Alright?" Wilrus said with the same blank expression. Ted sighed in relief and felt more calm after that. "But... make me run off like that again, and things will get... COMPLICATED for you," Wilrus added, his expression finally changing to a creepy grin. Ted gulped nervously and nodded his head quickly in response.

"Good," Wilrus said as he let go of Ted's shoulder. Mike walked up to Wilrus.

"Hey man, good to see you back home," Mike said with a smile.

"Same to you, Mikey," Wilrus said with a grin. His expression then changed to a serious one and he said, "So... you said that Bill, Stan and Hans were the ones who did this, right?".

"That's right. Don't worry though, we gave them a beating for what they did," said Mike.

"True but..." Wilrus said before stopping in mid-sentence. He then walked up to a chest in the other side of the room. "I still haven't had my piece of payback..." he continued as he opened the chest and put his axe in it. "Tomorrow..." he said before slowly turning his head back to Mike and Ted. "They're gonna wish they never did this..." he said on a creepy tone with the creepiest expression he's ever made.

Mike and Ted gulped and looked at each other nervously. Judging by Wilrus's sayings and expression, it was clear to them that Bill, Stan and Hans are gonna be in a way worse shape than they were after they were given a beating this afternoon.

The End.
