Oh snap!

The Interceptor's AI just made a body, right after saving the day. Green Lantern believes in Grrl power, even if in this case it's robotic.

Aya was designed by the infamous Josh Middleton:

I always imagined that her name would be spelled "Aia." Of course, there's really no way for me to be sure by watching the show, since CARTOON NETWORK CUTS OUT THE DAMN CREDITS!!!!
Yes, that ticks me off.

Catsup? XD I caught yesterday's, at least! And made a comment on my dA post. And commented, several times, on my dA post. And I have to question their sanity concerning Thundercats. They start showing it, at first, at 8:30 Friday nights, then relegate it to Saturday mornings at 9:30 AM. What's up with that?? o0;

yeah, I hate it when they move shows around like that... I think it causes more harm than helps.

Considering Hal basically seduced Aya into helping him and Kilowog in the first episode, I'm thinking toon!Carol Ferris now has some solid-state competition...LOL

I saw it that way too, but as I think about it, he was being nice and I think of him as a Daddy figure or big brother, because he protects and loves her.

Fantastic proportions.

I'm enjoying the new Green Lantern animated series. I was afraid it wouldn't well at first after the incident with the movie, but Bruce Timm made it a very good watch for GL fans and the whole family. Aya is really starting to grow on me as a character, perhaps in the next episode she may take the number 1 spot as my favorite character in the show.

I did think that was rather cool (although GL commercials and previews ruined the surprise by showing Aya's new Mobile Form early), however the whole time I couldn't help think that a lot of inspiration was taken from Mass Effect's EDI and what was, subsequently, done with her character.

Both are A.I.s, both become more emotionally sentient, both form strong emotional attachments to a particular character, and both, eventually, get attractive Cylon Bodies. *For the Record,* I'm not saying it's a bad thing to make these comparisons.

I love Aya in GL, I think she's a fantastic character, and I loved the Mass Effect series (horrible endings and all...) however the parallels are rather striking. Still, really great job all around. The series continues to be a hell of a good show and I hope the same crew is working on the forthcoming CG Batman.
:clap:
