Description

The upcoming Mario Kart World has an absolutely huge roster of racers, and includes a ton of obscure characters like Cataquack, Fish Bone, and of course, Cow. It got me thinking that there are other characters in the Mario universe that could be worth of a roster spot as well, and this may or may not be the first of many fanarts and pleas for Vivian to make into Mario Kart.

I can already hear the naysayers now:
"But she's a Paper Mario character! It's just a spinoff!" (i don't care)

"But she's a 2D character, and Mario Kart is a 3D game!" (i don't care)

"They would put Paper Mario as a playable character before choosing Vivian!" (then put him in too, i don't care)


These are all excuses. And I don't want excuses. I want Vivian in Mario Kart.

Since we know that Paper Mario characters can visit Super Mario characters thanks to what we see in Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam I can see Vivian being a logical choice as a playable character should Nintendo chose to add her to the roster.


My main gripe with merging Paper Mario and Super Mario is when they just mix the two elements like they’ve always co-existed, I won’t provide any examples as I don’t want to bash on any fellow creators.
